Looking to relocate from Thailand to Manila. What are the best online poker sites for Philippines? I grind Natural8 here, is Natural8 still allowed in Philippines? I'm kinda tired of GG Poker/Natural8 anyway so if there are better alternatives I'm down to sign up. But would have to figure out how to get rakeback deal through some other site. I'm NLHE player but learning PLO, would love if anyone can help me out here and would be happy to meet poker players when I get there because it's pretty isolating here in Thailand.

Hi guys, whats going on with the covid entry? I just tried to book a ticket to manila with thai air and it warned I had to have a RT-PCR to board the flight, is this only for no vaccinated people?

I have had the two does and one booster, if i have to take test before boarding i will not go.

Did anyone successfully register a sim card on tourist visa? Will it expire at the date of your return ticket? Or last for ever as long as you top it up regularly?

Hey I'm in Bangkok. Thinking about switching over to PLO or PLO5 soon. NLHE online edges just keep getting smaller and smaller I feel. Maybe live in Phillippines is still good though.

I play on gg but don't have a rakeback deal, feel it's such a waste. Only $ I get back is from Daily flipouts and fish buffet.

What % of RB do you get back? Am I missing out on a lot without having a deal?

A very small % like 15-20% but GG takes a cut out of it when I win a spin or whatever which makes it meaningless. I'm pretty fed up with the site tbh but it's not like there's a ton of options at this point. Maybe Global Poker? idk if it's just me but the NL games seem more reg and bot infested compared to a year ago when it was softer. When I first arrived in Manila years ago the atm fees ate me up. They keep max withdrawals low and fees per withdrawal high.

Move money to Wise / Revolut, have their debit cards (they're free). Use those cards to withdraw from HSBC - only bank that doesn't charge any fee and max 50k I believe. ALL OTHER ATM's CUCKS YOU pretty hard as poster above stated.

Also, use GCash (can move funds directly from Wise) for bills etc.

for playing 1-2 and 2-5, HSBC is fine. You might want to check with your bank for an account with the lowest international withdrawing lowest fees though... GL

At least precovid you got excellent rates at money changers cash USD <-> PHP, even at some inside the casinos, very untypical. Has prolly not changed but other currencies had a wider spread IIRC so you would need to be able to get some USD at a good rate.
No idea what's going on presently, would appreciate an update too, but most of the casinos / card rooms are kind of in the same area near the bay anyways so you can't go too wrong taking a room somewhere there. Exceptions are resorts world at the airport and metro card club which is completely off in a locals area. Yea, sorry, my stars account allows me to withdraw to my NA bank account and then I transfer via Remitly to my Phils bank.
