Solaire has only private games.
The former solaire pokerfloor will open in COD most likely by the end of year.
Besides OKada you can play in Rw or poker clubs.

I'm sure this has been posted upthread, but I didn't see it in the last few pages... I'm planning to visit Manila/Makati/BGC for ~2 weeks next month, but I keep running into the "all guests must be pre registered with ID, no immoral behavior tolerated" deal on AirBNB, which puts a damper on any possible Tinder successes. Anyone have any places they recommend that don't have these hangups? Budget is around 40 USD/day.

You sure it's not just for the one who is renting the apartment? Your guests needs to sign in, but never seen or experienced that they need to pre register. Weird.

Yeah, per the listing:

2. All guests sleeping at the apartment must be registered with the host, and indicated on the Airbnb Itinerary.

So I assume if you brought some rando back they'd be refused, even with ID? Sucks because this listing was ideal except for that.

Send a message to the host and ask. Pretty sure you can find plenty of places where you don't have to pre-register your random sleepover guests.

its like this:

1. if you book an airbnb but you have a gf or friend staying with you the whole time you "should" register them.

2. if youre bringing people from tinder you dont register them with host. they might just need to sign in at front desk.

dont worry about it. its not a big deal and wont be enforced. the long term guests are supposed to register to stop the constant mess of having to keep signing in at front desk. but if its for one night or one day or whatever itll fine

Well the rules still might be different on different condos.
I have couple of condos and for one had to go always to lobby to meet my guest, make lease contract with lawyer to be able to rent it to someone and for 'short time' quest to sign authorization form where i had to specify what they can do(use pool and BRING QUESTS) at the other condo they dont really care... And i quess AIRbnb host would put that part in reason(even if not enforced)... So better to contact host and be sure... But short time hotels are pretty cheap in case they deny

Damn, crazy man. Stay safe. Yeah it looks like Ecoland 4000 across from One Oasis got damaged bad and maybe lost a floor. With other areas of Mindanao even worse.

Do you still play live poker there, Metro Card Club guess it is? Do they still run the same type of games and limits? I went once but it was a couple years ago now.

yea that was the 5-story building... if you can call it condo... They said the contractor was using bad cement... But yea some other condos got some cracks also... though nothing serious. But yea was too close to Davao my liking(Mindanao is big island and some parts werent effected by the earthquake also).

Yea i still play there as it is the only place to play here... But they moved to another location(quite near the old place). But the city goverment is giving them hard time for 'renewing' their license... So they cant do much advertisemet yet... so has been kinda 'quiet'... Last saturday was lowest as they had hard time running even two 25/25 tables(usually they have 50/100 fridays and saturdays) though might been because the holiday and the earthquakes, lol

This is couple of years ago in january. So might be harder now and for December. But i went solemare(yea not makati) and just asked if they have units for rent and they just called agent who showed me 3units. Did do 6month contract though could have done just one month but for quite a bit more per month.

Hello everyone, does Manila have consistent 100/200php or above games running? If so at where, Okada?

Also the best way to exchange is to take USD into the country, then exchange at one of the facilities offering low commission good rates, eg. Czarina? Still can't bring big amount of PHP into or out of the country?

Thanks a lot

Bring Bitcoin and exchange in the poker room with regulars, most foreigners want to get rid of their php

50,000 PHP is the max you can take in or out of the country without permission from the central bank.

Most consistent place to find high stakes action is actually the Metro Card club. They play 25/50 PLO frequently. It is private but anyone can play AFAIK (I asked around).
