There should be. Waterfront runs on a semi-regular basis 25-50-100 NLHE and you can get some random PLO games there, depending on who runs it (there was a 100-200 PLO one night, running around a couple of foreigners who bought in for 100k. Not your standard game though. Just mentioning it, well, because it did happen ). This said, Cebu is not the perfect city for a combo of poker/beach, as you will have to do some distance to find a decent beach... There are a few beaches not far away, but are dirty... Davao might be a better option... Can't really comment much on it though (some other will have to chime in...). GL

The beaches in Cebu are awful, People wanted you to pay $40 usd roughly to sit around all day at what effectively was a mangrove. And because of the traffic, travelling from Waterfront to a nice beach takes forever as well.

Cebu is kind of trash.

My last drunken stumble through the casino, the poker room was not where it was previously located. I thought perhaps it had been moved but I wasn't there for poker so I never asked.

Two small rooms on A.S. Fortuna, one is Metro Card Club, forget the other one's name. Perhaps the action has consolidated at Waterfront by the airport. Requesting trips reports if you visit any of the above.

Just the poker room, the casino seems intact (from what I gather from the posters here...), so seemingly not Duterte related...

Once again had to wait 45 mins on runway after landing in manila

Crazy how those taxis outside arrivals charge 2300 fixed rate to makati, went upstairs for a white taxi and it was 170 on the meter

Messaged a burgos girl to come over before work so I can skip the 3500 in barfine + drinks, she said ok

Going to be in Manila at the end of August, going mostly for some live cashgames and party. So anyone who want to join on some nights out message me.
Also probably going to need 100-200k cash, preferably if any Swedish want bank transfer.
And have my old iPhone 5s that is locked to Globe i want to get rid off, bids are welcome.

Any change to the frequency or traffic of games in Manila? Or are all the poker rooms still running as regular there?

The official coupon taxis with the blue board showing fixed rates is the best.

340 ish to makati and dont have to risk there being no taxis upstairs at arrivals.

Anyone know a reputable travel agent for immigration in Manila? I am in Cebu and have an issue that can only be handled at main office..rather not get on a plane.

Thanks not sure where those are, didn't see any signs.

Upstairs was a line of white taxis as far as the eye can see

Last time I used the grabtaxi stand, that was 295

It was written on their laminated sheet of fixed prices. I'll take a photo when I fly out and make a blog about it

dante you'll need to start dressing nicer if you want to really get fleeced by the taxi drivers, but surprised you haven't seen those people with the flyers.

Got into an argument with one before, they kept pointing at the flyer and saying that was the only price like it was the stone tablet of the 10 commandments handed directly to them from God and not some sheet of paper with a ridiculous price typed on it. I was pretty shocked that they would not budge at all.

100 200 runs pretty sporadically at mikes, they occasionally get a 200 500 or higher running too.
