In Greenbelt 1 there are a couple stalls for costume jewelry. Not sure how nice they are but it'll fit your price range.

well I pretty much like all types of food, so what are some of your favorites?

Normally I'm not a fan of buffets and I've been to every buffet in Vegas, but the lunch buffet at the Cebu Hilton was pretty money, they make small portions instead of huge buffet portions, that keeps the quality better.

Not only do you get a round of golf but you get a golf lesson from the caddy's at the same time.

I believe umbrella girls can be hired for 500p. Beers in the clubhouse are around 35p each.

I should be heading up to Manila in a couple of weeks. If anyone fancies a round of golf let me know.
i've had lessons before but i'm still a noob. i'm down to go if u don't mind me having little experience.

Encore (is the new embassy) - but i think the age range is a bit low - of course legal but depending what type of crowd you are after..

Temple - in greenbelt if you are into house music

Ascend - in jupiter area

Where in Cebu are you? Near the city, Ayala Mall has a lot places to eat. Lots of diff types of Asian food as well as a couple of western places like TGI Fridays.

You mentioned you were at the Hilton in Mactan. There's a Mediterranean restaurant called Abaca very close which is pretty good. Cowrie Cove at the Shangri-La is also good.

Those last two are kinda pricey.

You can try Establishment (fort) or Nuvo, Mcafe (greenbelt). They are more like bars though. Amber also plays house ( i think)

the only places i ever go to are Nuvo, mcafe or if im feeling a little crazy Fiama.
neither of the places are a "club" i think you should just go to embassy or ascend, almost impossible not to score at either of the 2 places

Impossible not to score as in you're guaranteed to bring a girl home??? I don't have that much experience at those places but I don't think those are the easiest 'pick-up' type places. Maybe my game needs work lol.

Then where do you go to if you don't go to Embassy/Encore? Not a whole lot of night club options in the Big M...

Not saying you can't bring a girl home the same night you meet her, but I have not seen anyone I know (so that this doesn't become a 'well you must be ugly or have no game' argument) bring home a girl who I thought was attractive from a high-end night club in makati in my 8-9 months here. I don't know tons and tons of people and I don't go clubbing several times a week but I know enough and have been out enough to say I've got a decent sample of seeing this, so I just think that it being 'impossible not to score' has to be something of an exaggeration in the nicer Makati/fort night clubs. One time at embassy my friend said something that had a group of girls all over us who definitely would've come home with us but they were all ugly (he probably told them we were celeb musicians from the US or something). For a one night stand I think a place like Guilly's in the Timog Ave area or Nirvana in Pasay would be a better bet. Be prepared for a potentially grittier scene though, but I think the edge a foreigner or someone with money has picking up girls will actually be significant in the latter two places.

Is there anyone who have been to Metro Card Club in Ortigas Manila ?

I've been Manila couple of times, and played poker at Hayatt Casino and Aisa Poker Room (5th floor in Pan Pacific Hotel)

I could play 50/100 pesos anytime after 4pm, but I am looking for bigger games, and I've heard of Merto Card Club where runs 100/200, 200/400 and bigger games sometimes.

Can anybody tell me about Metro Card Club ??

1) How many tables are there ?

2) 100/200, 200/400 is usual ? (Can I play that staks on weekdays?)

3) How good regular's play ? (I've experienced some regulars in Hayatt, I think they aren't good enough, they're doning a lot of gamble)

I have plan to visit Metro Club when next trip, I will be appreciate if you share your experience.

I am somewhat a regular at metros higher games and its drying up, lately it has been rare to find higher than 50/100.
The last couple of times I have called and made sure that they have a game running and when I get there the game has already broken up by 10 pm

Hey guys I have not been posting in 2+2 for long mostly a lurker but I am a young american and I have been living in cebu for 1 year already. Just wanted to pop in and say whats up also I will answer any cebu questions to the best of my ability.

Anyway how the **** do you guys deposit online? the only option pokerstars would give me is western union since I have a american bank account and cant use a e wallet, I guess I need to get a philippine bank account but do you guys know of any good e wallets that are easy to use with Philippines bank account?

As far as good places to eat in cebu I would def recommend AA barbeque, there is one location I feel is the best its right near a JCA's pizza, a chicken place named jo jo? and I think something called chika ahn. Most of the AA grills are awesome anyway the site is here
http://aabarbeque.cebubestrestaurant...-photo-gallery
It is the ****ing nutz, not expensive at all, the quality is great, you even see some actors and politicians eat there and you choose all your meat and fresh sea food and they will grill it/cook it right there on the spot the way you want it.

Also if you have not tried the local specialty, visaya chicken go check out conchings. Web site mentioning it here
http://www.virtualtourist.com/travel...land-BR-1.html
Best chicken I ever had

whats up with red bull in the PH man, stuff tastes like flat soda or cough syrup lol I miss monsters and normal red bull sometimes. Love the korean food in Cebu though, the top quality places are as good and authentic as it gets.

FightRight, try Bacchus or the M-150 energy drink. They're pretty good alternatives to Red Bull. Tell us about Cebu man. Where do you live there and what do you do on a daily basis? If you need to deposit online, one option is to come up to Manila and exchange pesos for online money with me or one of the other 2+2ers here.

I should probably do something similar (list of good places to eat) for Manila. I'll try to get on that asap.

I recently (with the help of my wife's family obv) built a house out here in cebu city. I can answer questions about getting property, building the house etc... but as far as owning land goes if your not married to a national there are some loop holes you have to go through. My in laws were a big help as far as legal paper work and getting workers/supplies for the build as my mother in law is already very experienced in acquiring lots and building properties. I was active military but I got a back injury so I have been dealing with a lot of paperwork recently and go to manila every few months to get medical care at the VA clinic, should def meet up with a few of you guys as manila is kind of overwhelming when your used to peaceful cebu hehe

I grew up in Hawaii so the transition here was pretty easy. One thing I noticed is there are LOTS of Koreans in Cebu compared to Manila, of course I still see some but it seems like Cebu is a place of a lot of Koreans go to set up businesses and send there kids to college. As far as daily life goes I haven't grinded pokers for a long time now since im stuck in these loop holes lol I mostly have been chillin, working on some small businesses and working on getting my benefits with the VA.
