Okey then I dont understand why you guys say 200-250php an hour, thats ****ing more then a surgeon would make.
Should be able to get an personal assistant for about 200php per day and she/he will work 6 days straight with one day off.

I think you have a strange idea about the salaries in Manila or you have the exchange rate mixed up.

150PHP per hour is the low end when it comes to admin / call center type jobs that require english.

Sure, you can get some maid out of the slums that you provide a room for at a very low salary, but that's because she doesn't speak english and has zero skills (you'll need to teach her how to cook properly).

In Davao and the like you can hire someone for half, but that comes with the cheaper location.

You are affording them way to much credit. for the most part they wouldn't and even if they did they would care one iota. They are the most thick skinned race of people i have ever met, putting aside the fact that 99.9% of smarmy beggars I would still rather employ them than the thais. Having said that their great english skills soon go out the window when you reprimand them, all that fluency crumbles into a tirade of sir, sir sirrrr sirrr??

You got to be a bit more specific. Depends on what you're looking for. Costs of living are lower than Makati, but not incredibly, unless you slum it.

but yeah about 12-15k a month sounds more like it. 200php an hour would be about 40k a month.

Now I dont know what kind of PA he is looking for but I have friends who employ some people and they get programers for about 15k a month, who understand Java, HTML5, C+ and so on.

Got to Angeles yesterday. Cash action at the International is pretty busy but biggest table is 25/50. A few massive Filipino nits but quite a few big ass whales. Ended up winning 7k or so. Was in for 14k but managed to backdoor a straight with 57 of clubs on an A 6 2 board. Guy was wearing one of those surgical masks and he wasn't too happy when i ordered one myself and pretending to be Sub Zero from Mortal Kombat. The free beer is still in affect.

Played in a 50/100 which got bumped to 100-200 yday as there was a Korean who dropped in the region of 150k in a couple of hours. The game in itself was horrid and full of colluding locals. They are just not subtle about it at all.

Im interested in checking out Subic Bay or Puerto Gallera for the same reasons allthough not been maybe someone can confirm.

Actually the floor is really friendly and nice guys at most of the Casinos ive been to in PI.
But I don't think they can do anything about the collution as the colluding players are their regulars making up most of the rake, and even if they could ban someone there would probably be a runby shooting the next couple of days.

The decent beaches in Cebu are in the provinces aka boondocks.

Yeah I dont think Cebu is what the guy is after to be near the beach you are to far from everything else.

Sure most the beaches in Mactan are resorts that charge allthough some of them not alot. Only went portifino beach there few times and never saw any mud flats

Had a hand yday in the MTT where it went raise pre flop the checked down on a 447k9 board. Only for the guy on the button to show pocked nines. I was drinking heavily yesterday and it took me about a minute to process that the third nuts had been checked in position on the river.
