The girl is like late 20's, what Filipino would want her. South East Asian men like their girls to be teenagers + virgins, and if they are older than that they have probably already been married/divorced/had kids, which is why they are willing to settle for any (usually white) dude that will look after them.

Surely guys who have been living there for years would know this already...

In defense of Paul B. though, the girl is quite good looking for her age and the dude is uglier than most. Well played sir.

Unfortunately you are looking at sh*t weed... All of my experience has been that you will get the schwaggiest of schwag in Thai or Phils and with the slight risk of getting busted is barely worth it. If you must, befriend a girl you have built a trust with who smokes and then use her as a contact. I would choose a girl who worships you and one who you are generous to, gives her less incentive to turn on you... It's always a risk though.

Less incentive is key here, very key.

Furthermore it's important you realize, that unless she is a total dog, or you are literally the greatest guy in the world, her worship of you is based entirely on how generous you are to her, and in many cases her family and friends as well.

If you think she would genuinely worship, or even care about you at all, if you didn't take care of her/be generous to her, then... well you'll soon find out otherwise, i'll just say that.

Well have not tried too many times to be honest. I kind of forget about herb when I am there. Not high on my list of things to do. Maybe you can enlighten the above poster once he gets here? My take is most of the good stuff is exported where it can command a higher price. Any of the good stuff left is found thru really good hookups or getting lucky.

i guess you opened a bank account in phil since you lived in manila for such a long time... did that account appear on your "selvangivelse" each year? meaning that the tax authority got information about your bank account over there?

i have problems with the government taking way to much tax from me so opened a bank account in manila this year. just wonder if it would be safe of me to keep a lot of money there without the norwegian tax authority knowing about that.

50% tax on winnings in norway? doesnt sound like ideal living conditions for a poker player, move imo.
