Hey I use Metrobank savings account and always withdraw from Stars to this account. No issues so far

If you don't mind sharing what issues are you having with BPI?

Yes, I do have a peso account and im not sure tbh. I didn't really mind after a couple of times because this was the only hassle-free option for me.

From what I remember though it really hurts the higher you withdraw because based from my first few withdrawals, they charge a certain % on top of their own exchange rate.

Yeah pretty much, just need higher minimums for opening USD/EUR/etc. accounts

Interested on updates of live cash game poker in Philippines. I'm seeing Metro Card Club in Manilla as being fairly active and not much else.

Happened to me... But yea haven't found any way to get back either as i do not really qualify to any visas either. I heard you can enter if you applying ssrv you can get some entry permit... but yea have to be over 50years old.
You can also try to have apointment in main immigration in intramunos and ask... But other offices are pretty useless(not saying that they will do anything for you there either)

That sucks.

Any off season good islands to go to? Will it be sunny at all? Want to take gf somewhere but worried about weather and could possibly be pointless.

A lot of conflicting info as to whether or not you need to be vaccinated.

Reportedly unvaccinated have to quarantine for 14 days, 5 in government facility and 9 at home/hotel
https://thepointsguy.com/news/philippines-reopening/
although I also read in another article that from Feb 17th on, only vaccinated are allowed in, but can't find it now

I think the confusion resulted because there were two official statements made by government officials. The first was that starting feb 14th, foreigners entering the Philippines would need to be vaccinated. The second, which came a few days later, was that visa on arrival was back and that unvaccinated foreigners would need to quarantine. So I dunno if the latter announcement supercedes the first or if they are complimentary and you do need the vaccine to enter.

Also there is some slim chance that the unvaccinated can sneak through between feb 10th to 14th, when the second rule kicks in but before the first does.

It’s Feb 10 to Feb 16. After the 16th you must be vaccinated if travelling as a non visa tourist.
