No idea, maybe some new development (hopefully) normally they should have a clearly visible buy and sell and these are not the same rates, the spread used to be pretty low with the solaire money changer last year (like 52.2 and 52.45 or something) but worsened significantly this year, on my last visit they had like 52.3 and 53.0 or something in that dept. Maybe you got better rates because you changed big amounts (I changed 2k several times and they never offered me any discount)

"Hey, what are you looking for on Tinder?" or "Hey, how is Tinderlife going for you?" Worked well for me. If you had the same account for a long time, you should delete it and make new one with another phone number/email adress/ facebook account, gives you the noob boost back. I read that its best to change phone number, but changing email address worked well for me. Use one boost the first day and you should get ATLEAST 100 matches the same day.

1st message: (Filipino greeting)
Their response 80% of the time: "omgz wow you speak filipino"
2nd message: I'm in (location), is that close to you?
3rd message: Let's watch a movie at my condo today
They say yes 2% of the time --> free bang
They say it's far --> offer to book them a grab

If a ladyboy operated her vagina, is it possible to tell somehow or does it look pure perfection?

getting tired of the rat race in Vegas, make anywhere from 4500 a month and when I was playing tournament highest was 17400, about 150 hr per month.
What would someone make in in the Philippines or Cambodia. Looking at there and the Philippines and Cambodia.
How do you do? $30-$50 hr possible at 2/5 5/10 or is it crazy with big swings?

In the bigger cities or just the small ones? Manila or Angeles city?
I tried to get on a 2/5 game at the Orleans Casino today, I was 21 on the list, stayed about 20 minutes and I was still 21. ****ty casino but I went to the movies and seen they had a 2/5 game because the WSOP was in town, 1/3 had a list over 50 but the list there was moving a little but slow. I could not believe they only had 4 games or 1/3 and only 1 of 2/5. The room was packed over 35 table going but about 15 for a tournament (Triple Draw) and a mixed game that starts a 6pm, they have additional 21 tables for that outside of the poker room.

AFAIK Manila is the only place that has (equiv. of) 2/4 more or less regularly. Forget about 5/10 running with any regularity. The 2/4 game can range from decent to meh. Also the casinos/cardrooms are not that close to each other. More like LA

5/10 or higher does run fairly frequently either in the Metro Card Club VIP room (often PLO) or at Solaire (3-4 times a week).

2/4 seems to be running pretty much every day either at Resorts World or Solaire (mostly in evenings)

I am confusing myself but using the chip sizes we use here in the States I assume they use PHP not USD so is 2/4 in the Philippines 200 Peso ($3.85)/ 400 Peso ($7.68). What are the buy ins for that limit? Is it 200 + Big Blinds or more?

basically make sure you can crush online before you move. live is not reliable for a living.

This. I did not meet many (if any...) that relied exclusively on live in Cambodia/Phils if not for a brief (1-2 months) passage. Most relied more on online/a combination of both and lived a backpacker lifestyle.

It's 100/200. 200/400 does not exist. Higher stakes are (100/)200/500+. Metro Card Club "2/4"(which was 50/100/200) min was 10k max 50k, solaire (100/200) is max 100k forgot the min, I think 20k. Also what the peeps above said

Since it wasn't mentioned on this page, I'll add that rake is typically 10% except for Resorts World which usually doesn't get any stakes worth mentioning running.

What are the prices in Manilla currently? Like rent it doesn't have to be in the bussiest spots but not too far from city centre, groceries, restaurants etc...?

Is the rake capped at like $10 or or uncap like I have heard. Also do you know if it changes as limits go from 25/25 php limit to 100/200 php NL

Yup depends on limit, they are like:
20/40&25/50 300
50/100 400
100/200 500
etc.

I am paying $600 usd for a pretty nice though small two bedroom condo. Came furnished with beds, induction stove, flat screen, couches, chairs etc. Inclusive of condo fees but exclusive of utilities. New modern building.

Hi I am visiting Manila in August. Does anybody know which casino offers 5% rake at the lowest stakes? Thanks!

i am paying around 1250$ for a 1 bedroom apartment(incl. electricity and internet)
i probably spend around 3k$ / month with a decent lifestyle.
maybe a bit less.
live games are okish but casinos/cardrooms are not really close to each other, like FWWM said so this kinda sucks.
i still know some people grinding live games for a living.
one white dude plays since 3-4 year 25/50, sometimes 50/100. pretty sure he plays for a live since i saw him so often so I guess you can survive somehow.
always depends on how u wanna live obv.
