FWIW I will also jump in and confirm that Pokerroom support is pretty poor. I was earning a bonus there last month and had some difficulties with the software and decided to use their online support. The lag to their internet help centre was atrocious (I'm also from Scotland) - it was taking 30 seconds to 1 minute for a message to be sent to the support operator, it also disconnected frequently and eventually I was unable to reconnect (no, it wasn't my internet connection). When I did talk to a member of support they were dismissive and unhelpful, and I couldn't even give them a piece of my mind before the bloody thing disconnected permanently.

Sufficed to say that I withdrew my money and gave up on the bonus.

Fine... but I don't think that isn't the case here now is it?
Seems PR's been slacking off in terms of service these days.
Enough for Foobert to move his cash somewhere else.

maybe one reason could be the affiliate over that you sign up at pokerroom

pokerroom pays the affiliate after you earn 100 Points and your playing looks like your goal is only to reach this 100 points without lose or win money

only a thought-but its possible

if you like you can send me your username and I´ll try to find out the reason

you can pm me if you want

Last year I wanted to try any OnGame site, and I decided to try pokerroom first. When I tried to deposit, there was some problem (my country wasn't listed or something like that) ... and all the contacts I tried to establish with their support failed ... the idiots even banned my play money account ?!?! After that I went to Hollywood Poker, the same problem occured, but their support fixed it in a month or two ... and all that time they were informing me about the progress - they even gave me two free tickets for 5$ tourneys to 'test their site while they fix the problem' !!

Bottom line - if you're up to play on OnGame, stay away from pokerroom, go to Hollywood Poker

How could the know you were only playing $1 SnGs, but at the same time not know that you played any hands? This makes no sense?

Sorry OP. Pokerroom was my favorite site pre-UIGEA. I can't believe they are trying to scam you out of $24.

My conclusion is that Pokerroom is run by an Irishman.

Well, it's often like that with popular rooms: the majority of the players don't have any problems while others do. No room can be perfect you know. Still this situation with PokerRoom seems odd to me. Such a big room won't have much even if they take away 25$ from 100 accounts. It just has no logic. Must be a mistake of their statistics system.

I may be able to shed some light on this.
1/What was your EXACT balance when they suspended your account? (to the cent)
2/Do you remember the pay structure for the $1 games on pokerroom?
3/Also, do you know what registration fee or rake was on each one?

May sound pretty random but think about it, hard.

So when they say you don't play any hands- maybe they mean you don't play cash games? I always get suspicious when a single-digit post poster posts a problem like this, and then a couple of other low post posters come out in support of the first (maybe it's all my years as a moderator, but it's almost always an ulterior motive).

The other thing is- do you suppose it's possible in a low-limit SNG for folding every hand to be close to break even? Maybe it is and the poster has been using this to simply build up enough points for the prize. If so, I can see them banning him.

No, I really don't belive it is.
Also, if this was the reason for banning him, under "softplay rules" for example then that should have been explained to him. Oh... I have a different theory for sure.

Would you care to explain this? I'm Irish, and I can't think what you mean.

The only people that seem to be complaining are from Scotland. Nobody else seems to have a problem. Get it? Haha!!

Ok... if I have to explain it, it wasn't that good.

Thanks, man. It was a better joke than I thought.

Yeah, that sucks. I've had only good experience at PokerRoom, so I have no advice. At least you only lost a little bit of money if you cannot get it back.
