Short question to the dealt-rakebackmethod Short question to the dealt-rakebackmethod

Hi,

I just have a question if I calculate the rakeback correctly with a rakeback using the dealt-method.
If the HM shows a MGR of 1600$ rake and I am playing Full Ring lets say there is an average of 8 players at the table. And we got a rakeback of 25%

The rakeback would be:
1600$ divided by 8 = 400$ MGR for each player. Those 400$ *25% = 100$ total rakeback.

This calculation leans on the dealt method explained by a titn.com live support operator (mgr/players * rakeback%)

I don't know how to answer your question.

I think you would probably do better to ask on the "Affiliates/Rakeback" forum or the "Internet Poker" forum.

HEM shows only your MGR. So, to figure out how much rakeback you'd be getting using the contributed method, you'd simply take $1600 * .25 = $400. Assuming there's no BBJP considered in this rake.

Lets say the average pots and rake rates, and caps are all the same. At your stakes, the average pot is raked $2, and the average number of players at your table is 10.

Poker Room A offers 30% Dealt.
Poker Room B offers 30% Contributed. (not weighted)

So at Poker Room A you will make $2/10 or $0.20 in MGR per hand or $0.06 per hand. Your tightness doesnt penalize you.

At Poker Room B you will make be in 10% less hands than the average player, so you will make 10% less than the average player in terms of rakeback. How do you calculate you MGR / hand avg? Do you need to figure out how many players contribute to a pot on average?

Could you simply say the difference in rakeback earned between the two methods is equal to the difference between your VPIP % and the average players VPIP %?
Not sure if the above quote is legit.

Nope ... 1st $1600 divided by 8 = 200$ (not 400$)

HM does show your MGR (Monthly Gross Revenue) AND your contributed to the pot Rake. I mostly play HEFL, HU and 6-max so my Rake-value is higher as the MGR.

If your HM does show MRG = $1600 and you`d play FR with 8 players the total rake was collected when you got dealt cards was $ 12.800 ($12.800 divided by 8 = $1.600)

$1600 MGR x 25% = 400$ Rakeback
