There is no code to enter, so just sign up Pacific and register here would be fine (and then get 50 points), right?

can anyone reply or direct me to other posts?

You'd probably better wait for Kiera for a definitive answer, or maybe someone who has already done the book bonus on Pacific can confirm.

But it looks like yes, as long as you register for a new account using the link on the 2+2 bonus program page, you should get the books. That link should register you at Pacific with 2+2 as the affiliate that signed you up - as long as that is done, you should earn the books and Pacific should notify 2+2 when you have cleared the 50 points.

Yes providing that when you are signing up you used the green button link on the bonus page and do not have a preexisting account.

one thing I will say is I don't believe I got an extra $10... the bonus points were incredibly hard to get... the higher limit tables weren't even ever open, the site as a whole sucked pretty hard, i also didn't like how you can't show hands *or at least I didn't really find the option to* when you win without showdown

All in all, pretty bad poker client, pretty mediocre poker room, below average on table availability... great tourneys though. They offer a wide range and the guaranteed $ tourneys never break even due to low populations.

I guess I'll see whats up when the next step happens.

I don't want to be a doomsville but pacific in the old days was top notch but they completely ballsed it up when they altered the software but stick with it dude you just never know!

One good thing is the book deal,it looks hard to achieve the points but at least 2+2 have easier sites for you to get more books, just shop around.

Regards.

i already had 10 books from doing other 2+2 bonuses and would like to do this one too.
I signed up but the deposit screen wouldn't display. It said i needed to change some internet security settings, which i did. but it still didn't work.. Also, i think there were virtually no players at low Limit tables... Anyone who's done this offer. what limits, how many tables, how long? did u win or lose?
Thanks, J

I had to grind 1/2 Limit (there was a table in the jackpot section that was open most times of the day) for about i dunno... 7-12 hoursish, made about $110 or so, entered a $50+5 tourney and lost then cashed out.

If you do play on the jackpot table don't place the jackpot bet, it's a rip.

But yeah, this site kinda sucked IMO (some people obviously like it). Still no word on the books.

Okay, i deposited for max bonus... 400, my bonus was 3000 bonus points to earn at which I was earning over a rate of 50/12 hours.

I'm going to guess that I was supposed to clear the full 3000 points and not the 50 like stated in the bonus offer. Either way, I'm not going to spend that many hours playing on that horrid site.

Kuval, I'm pretty sure the point requirements are separate - as long as you get the 50 points you will get the books, and if you can keep going to get the bonus released or just forget about it and move to a different site.

It can take a while for some sites to report to 2+2 who has cleared the bonus books requirement, so give it a few more days at least and then go check with Kiera to see if she has got word yet.

The Pacific Book Bonus Program works. Even though it seems shady as hell and unorganized... IT WORKS.

So what you need to know is already in this thread, there is no bonus code, just a bonus button on the 2p2 bonus site before you install. You earn 50 points, even if that doesn't get you your bonus released and then you can order the books. It does seem highly fishy... but it's not. Especially when you play on a poker site that doesn't have a commercial that's internationally aired and has its own online casino as well.

I don't really like this poker room, but after thinking about things, I'd probably do this again. It took me about 12 hours of grinding to earn these books and it was actually pretty easy. As well, if you choose to gamble a bit they have some fun bonus tables (i only did those for 20 or so hands... didnt like them much). But yeah, it works.

you might have to disable your firewall

but will this link me to the pacific 2+2 offer or not?
and if not, how do i go about it?

I'm asking our Pacific poker affiliate manager to give us some feedback regarding the download question.
