From my fellow Canadians, which deposit methods are the best for us? Was a MasterCard accepted and were there cash advance charges?

Did anybody who entered a friend's screen name for Everest's Refer-A-Friend promotion become ineligible for the 2+2 book bonus?

from the 2+2 Everest Bonus Page

"You must use the link or button on the 2+2 Everest Bonus Page to register on the site. If you do not do so you will not be eligible for the bonuses. If you have previously registered with the site you will not be eligible for the bonuses."

I am reading this right? All i have to do is deposit $50 at everest poker after clicking on the link provided on the 2+2 bonus page and entering the bonus code? I do not even have to play a certain number of hands, or generate a certain amount of rake or anything like that?

Am i mistaken?

Thank you

I think you have to play at least one hand. I haven't done the bonus so others may know more.

Just signed up yesterday, let's see how long it takes the books to get to Australia

BTW, the site is pretty nice but the waiting lists for the NL10 games are incredible. I couldn't even get on a table today.

You selected your books on June 8, 2008. This order has not yet been shipped.
How long does it approximately take to ship the order? Does someone have any experience with it?

Thanks!

I received my books for doing Everest today. I selected them on May 31st, and they were shipped on June 5th. So, you can say a week to dispatch them and then they took a further week to reach me in England.

This is the second 2+2 book offer I've done, and the previous one I did had a similar timeframe.

Okay, thanks a lot mate!

I selected my books for doing Everest on June 8, so I guess they will be shipped one of these days. Thank you 2+2!

I also want to thank Kiera and 2+2. I signed up with Everest on May 27. I didn't think I would receive my books before my WSOP trip at the end of June. After I fulfilled the requirements, I selected the books on May 31. The books were shipped on June 5 and I received a delivery notice from Canada Post on June 13. Soon after I picked up the package, I was already using a highlighter on my books.

I signed in for Everest two days ago.

On the signup page it says "this is the name the site knows you as" so I entered Everest login. But in this thread it's said you need to enter nickname instead.

Can this be fixed? I mailed 'bonus_support@twoplustwo.com' the same day but got no answer

Same Problem here. Was kind of confused wich name they wanted. And they asked for the "ID" so I also typed in the Name Everest asks for when i want to log in.

I just send an email to 2+2

Note that you can still be validated for the bonus if you entered your ID, we just try to keep it consistent whenever possible.

Whats the LHE traffic like here?

I plan to play 5/10 and clear the $200 deposit bonus as well as getting the books.

Any hints on clearance speed, quality of play etc. is much appreciated.

The best place to check first is probably www.pokerscout.com, which tracks traffic to the major poker sites.

I haven't played on Everest in a while, but they had a good number of players, mostly from Europe with some Canadians in there. I had no problems finding many tables at the microstakes, but I can't speak for 5/10.

I just logged in to take a look and it matched with what pokerscout showed - only one 6-max table of fixed-limit 5/10 running, full with 6 players. Not a good sign. Suggest you check what it is like during the peak hours for the euro players.
