Question Everest poker requirements for 5 free poker books?

Quote:
Free books are sent once you have signed up, made your first deposit, and played in real money games or tournaments. We receive this information from the site approximately twice a month so please be patient.

Does this mean that in order to receive the books, i dont have to play a certain number of hands or earn a certain number of points?

To earn the books you do not need to earn a certain number of points, however, you will be missing out on the cash bonus from everest if you do not play more.

re: Everest poker requirements for 5 free poker books?

I have just signed up for the Everest bonus. The only problem is, is that it says in the terms and conditions on 2+2, that "You must use the bonus code TWO200 when signing up in order to receive the books".
Well i didn't get the option to enter the bonus code whilst i was signing up, i entered the bonus code (through the "add bonus" button on everest) after i downloaded the software.
This wont be a problem, will it?

As long as it accepted the code, you should be fine.

It did accept the code, and it said the bonus is for $100. However, it says the 2+2 bonus is "queued". I think this is because i have to clear their welcome bonus first, and you cant do them both at the same time. Am i correct?

Yes, I'm sure you're correct.

I signed up at Everest for the free books.

At the nano-stakes I was playing, I earned some of the welcome bonus but never got close to clearing it all, and hence never made a start on the 2+2 cash bonus.

Got the books, though, without having to play any minimum number of hands.

Ok cool, i've signed up for everest, deposited, slapped in the bonus code and its marked "queued".

Ive play 1 sng and like 20 mins of cash. Will i still be entitled for the books if i dont play any more for a while?

Yes! pretty easy isn't it?
But, you do miss out on the free $200 if you dont clear the bonus. ($100 from Everest and $100 from 2+2)

does twoplustwo need to know the name we use to log in, or the name we use at the table?

Everest use two different names unlike pokerstars, one to log in and another at the table.

On your 2+2 registration for Everest, please enter your screen name (name at the table). If you entered your login, please send a note to me at bonus_support@twoplustwo.com and I can update your registration information for you.

Only see one $100 bonus for Everest!

I registered my 2+2 bonus account using the screenname (one shown during the games) and in the 2+2 acc it says i am confirmed as joining everest on feb 14th. However, unlike a couple of the people listed above, after entering the TWO200 code, I only see the $100 deposit bonus as "Active" (under TWO200) and don't see a "queued" second $100 bonus.

Is there a problem? I thought I had followed all the instructions to successfully register this (click the link to go from 2+2 to get to Everest to download it, etc, etc...)

Thanks.

Stally,

I think you need to type in "WELCOME" (without the speech marks) in the bonus box for the extra bonus.

what i'd like to know is, can i choose which bonus to unlock first? I accidentally put in the 2+2 bonus first, which gives you twice as long to unlock as the welcome bonus so obviously i'd prefer the 2+2 one queued.

Am I stuck with the setup now?

re: Everest poker requirements for 5 free poker books?

Thanks for that, Senator Mendoza - I see my error now. I had the 2+2 but not the site's own bonus!

So I completed the 2+2 bonus first (out of order), which had a 2 month expiry. I entered the "WELCOME" bonus today, and I have 1 month *from today* to complete it. I hope that's helpful.

EDIT: If you will enter them both at the beginning, make sure you enter "WELCOME" first. I completed the 2+2 bonus in a couple of weeks and entered "WECLOME" after that, so I still had a full month to complete it. I'm not sure if there is a time limit on entering the "WELCOME" bonus, so check into that if you want to do it as I did. Thought I ought to clarify.

I have just opened a account and used the TWO200 bonus code in the add new bonus section and it says my account is not eligible for this bonus? Any reasons why? must i deposit first then add the code?

Thanks

If you did not create your Everest account by linking from the 2+2 bonus page, you cannot count as a referral from us and are not eligible for the book bonus.

Sorry there have been a few days here where you have had to enter the WELCOME bonus to get the $100. We are getting a new code starting on March 1st and when that goes live it will apply to the books and the cash.

Thanks guys for figuring it out in the meantime ... you are the BEST.

re: Everest poker requirements for 5 free poker books?

"Please enter the bonus code TWOPLUS200 to be eligible for both the FIVE 2+2 Books and special Two Plus Two Forum $200 bonus. This code must be entered within 48 hours of registration or you will not receive the bonus. You must also use the button to be eligible for the free book bonus. "

so for a minimum deposit of $50 we get a chance for a $200 bonus, however the line above says 2p2 will also add $200. So is it a $400 total bonus or just $200?
