i think you can get the bonus.
if you look at the everest bonus, there is pointed out that
"This code must be entered within 48 hours of registration or you will not receive the bonus."

so if it elsewhere not mentioned you should be able to wait longer

Hi,

I would like to know if anybody has cleared the Betfair 2+2 Book bonus? Am I right to presume you only have to play one raked hand? I have read elsewhere on 2+2 that the software is ordinary, but the games are ok? Also is it easy to cash out once your bonus is cleared or are there ridiculous clauses? Whats the rake like at the micro limit cash games and sit n go's?

Any help appreciated.

cheers,

I cleared the Betfair bonus about 6 weeks ago. It took me a couple of weeks playing at the lowest levels. You need to play more than one raked hand, you need to generate 150 Betfair points. You will lose 10% of your points every Sunday tho, in line with their 'weekly decay' policy.

The software is not very good and there was regular downtime while I was playing there. Perhaps it has improved. The players and games at the micro-stakes are loose/soft and reasonably easy to beat.

AFAIK the rake was similar to other sites but I don't know about cashing-out.
I have left my money in there in case some juicy sports bets come up.

Thanks Garr,

Just to clarify. Did it take you a few weeks to clear the Betfair cash bonus or the 2+2 book offer?

cheers,

Yes, that was for the books, but it could be done a lot faster of course.
Playing bigger limits will get to that 150 points total quicker.

Does this decay work against your 2+2 bonus though? I assumed you'd need to earn 150 points, not reach a balance of 150 points.... true?

When i cleared the betfair bonus I only needed one raked hand (some months ago). Now the requirements have changed. But if I remembered it correctly, Kiera said that the weakly decay wouldn't affect the 150 points needed to clear the bonus

I'm not sure though. Search the other threads about Betfair

Im thinking of signing up for the Betfair bonus, and i see you only require 150 points to get the TPT bonus, but the cash offer is a lot harder to earn at $10 for 400 Betfair points.

Is there a time limit on how long you have to earn the cash? because i cant play a lot atm, so if there is a time limit I would rahter sign up at a later point.

Does anyone know? and also is it worth even bothering with the cash side of the offer, because 400 points seems like a lot of points for $10?

According to their web site, the sign up bonus is valid for 60 days from the first time you play. I've managed a meagre £20 so far in about 20 days. Book bonus is pretty easy to clear though.

I have just emailed Betfair about the decay to see if its affects the 2+2 bonus, as i cleared the books part ages ago, but if Betfair takes a while to let 2+2 know then the decay will drop your points to below what it needed. This might be why i have not received the email asking me to choose my books. Very stupid this decay think man, if that how it works then there is not point going for the $10 for 400 points.

Anyone knows whether 2p2 clears the bonus if only the bonuscode tpt300 is filled in? I actually did d/l the software via the green button link, but somehow it's not registered.

Same thing happened with WTP. It really sucks.

How do you guys download it? And with IE or an other browers, delete cookies first?

I have emailed Betfair and they say that the weekly decay will not affect your points towards the books or the cash. I have still have not received the email saying i can choose my books, its been quite a while since i generated all the points so i am going to wait until thats sorted before i carry on with the cash section.

I don't undestant sth about this points. When I look on the website My account/Account summary I can see 111 points, but using the link https://promocheck.poker.betfair.com/bonus/index.html I see:
Betfair Points earned from poker this month: 192
Betfair Points earned from poker (on new software): 192

Anyone knows why there is such a big difference?
