You are reading the current promotion correctly, note that tournament fees do not apply.

Sorry to ask for slight clarification.

But just to clear things up, this is asking for £2 of personal contribution to the rake is that correct. In other words, at 5%, it is asking you to put £40 into raked hands (technically it will be slightly more due to rounding down to nearest penny).

is that correct?

you would probably want to email Skypoker themselves about it, or infact call them, as that would be a lot quicker. And im sure that once you have played a few hands, you can contact them and asked how much rake you have generated

i have emailed them a few times and asked how much rake i have produced but they say they can't tell me, that I have to calculate it myself. Which is a bit stupid because like that i will never know if I have enough rake or not. And unfortunately I lost the 50 euro I had there and I am not really willing to invest more, only if I have to to generate the rake. So if someone knows how I can find how much rake I have produced please tell me!

When I did the bonus tourny fees were included so it was much easier to calculate your contribution. It looks like there is no way to tell how much rake you've contributed, without keeping track all along. Funny though how they give this information to 2+2 but not to the actual player!

I suggest you do the Everest books promotion (if you have not already done so). At Everest you only need to play in one cash game (there is no rake requirement) Ever easier than Sky.

edit: BTW, beware that some people playing on Sky from outside the UK have experienced a lot of difficulties cashing out.
