Has he been limping aces before? If you can't rule them out I think you have to fold.

Is this a HU tourney or a final table or what? Because I'm more tempted to call at a final table, more chance of spastic 'I have to win this pot at any cost' kinda plays. His bet size doesn't look like a bluff though.

I don't know if he has been limping aces, but he usually open completes.

check calling the turn is a big mistake.. theres nothing you're beating at this point and better yet no action you want to take on the river.. bet/fold turn and check/fold river

I actually folded the river. The hand kind of got to me, because it was key in the result. I thought maybe my tens were good, but when the showed the replay, I found out villain limp/called 65o and flopped trips.

Kind of a difficult situation on the turn, but I don't see how there is nothing you are beating and it is an easy fold. Seems like villain could call the flop with a lower pp or a pair on the board and maybe not that.

River is an easy fold, I would fold the turn.

if ur plan is to c/c turn...then why not take the line b/f and not put urself in this position on the river?
11-23-2007 , 11:52 PM
I'm confused shouldn't you be in position?

Was this at the FT? If so reads would probably slightly helpful and you have to them. I would prob make it a little bigger pre. Turn is a pretty sick spot I dunno what to do.

Pot limit, can't make it more preflop.

This is HU and we flopped an overpair against a limp/caller. On the turn, an ace hit making a 3-flush. Now villain could have flopped trip 5s, could have limp/called and called the flop with Ax, and could have made his flush draw. However, I don't think it is certain we are beaten. When I check the scare card on the turn, he could be regardless of what he had.

lol.. so tell me what hands you are ahead of that play like that to the turn and what your action is on the river by check/calling that turn
