Blinds are 1k-2k w/200 ante, average stack is 60kish, 45% of the field remains. I am 2nd in chips at the table with $66k, just lost $22k in a big pot and got slowrolled and was visibly not happy.
I'm on BB, hole cards KcKd. Folds to UTG + 2, who is the only player at the table who has a bigger stack ($87k). He's only been at the table for 8 hands and has not yet seen a flop or made a raise. He raises to $5k. It gets folded to me on the BB. Other than losing the pot where I got slowrolled, I think the only hand UTG + 2 has seen me get involved is one where I 3bet in position to take it down. I raise to $12k. UTG + 2 quickly calls.
Flop: 2 4 8, two spades
I bet 14k, villain quickly calls
Turn: Jspades
What's your play?

Anywhere from 13.5k-15k pre probably would have been better, solely for the reason that more people in the live arena never open with the intention of folding to a 3b. That's not a bad thing if you adjust accordingly, so don't let that dishearten you.
If I didn't expect him to play perfectly or be very good at hand reading I would probably c/c the turn and re-evaluate the river.
