Think I have to fold here but this one is obv bothering me. Villain is 3x'ing to open, has a $33 ABI, appears to be stuck a bunch, and is from Russia. I doubt he's good enough / ballsy enough in something this big for him to turn his busted draws into bluffs here based on all this, but just wanted to see what you guys thought - his value range is not that many combos, but I think he probably just has to have it often enough to make this a fold?

Very early in party high roller. Villain's name is KONY2012 so he probably speaks English and is familiar with internet trends, that's about all I got as far as reads. B/f turn? As played call or fold river?

And I'm sure I should be 3xing this early but I'm too goddamn lazy to do that on a sunday so don't bother saying that in the reply

Sorry I know I'm mashin the quick checkup thread tonight, but I didnt feel like any of these hands deserved their own thread and this thread needs more love anyway

This is from the 100c turbo

Villain is a 40/0 dolt from Greece, I flat pre to keep him in the pot and call flop for the same reason, then he randomly dolt open jams 2x pot on turn into two people, I didn't really feel like folding at this point wanted to make sure that was reasonable

AA hand bet bigger on flop and turn, jfc he has a pair a lot

QQ hand seems like a gr8 spot to raise river

        EDIT

Man I don't expect a 40/0 to just double-pot 3 ways that lightly but it's also really hard to make hands that are better than one pair. Do you think he ever peels flop with QJ or AQ or whatever? He probably just does and has a pair of queens enough to call

agree w/pretty much all of this ^

if I just bomb/bomb/bomb the AA I can stack off to whatever silly backdoor draw got there and not worry about it. I'm assuming I still go for value on this river even if I size flop and turn bigger, as not much gets there

the QQ hand does seem like it could be a nifty spot for a raise to fold out KK+, do you like the turn check or prefer a b/f? and how often does he have KK+ anyway given that he checked turn?

and I def think the 40/0 greek can be peeling the flop with AQ or QJ or maybe even something silly like the JdTd but wasn't sure if he would be 2x pot jamming when he got there. He certainly could be, but it's pretty hard to determine the frequency at which button clickers decide to click buttons as you said in the other thread

also just realized the three hands I posted involved me having AA KK and QQ, confirmed nitbox

I think he checks KK lots on this turn and probably should check KK lots on this turn. Your range to get to turn is JJ-KK (AA?) and AsKs-AsQs, right?

correct, so jam > fold > call given that I suppose

In bparis QQ hands don't u guys think its too optimistic to think he folds KK+ to a raise there?
in Lipo's KK hand i personally def bet turn and c/f riv mostly.
        06-26-2013 , 03:45 PM
nah, I don't think it's that optimistic, him calling a shove on the river here this early when I have a lot more flushes in my range than him seems like it's pretty bad in a 500. I have to be on a stone bluff on river (or turning a value hand into a bluff, which he has no reason to think I'm capable of) for KK to be any good

He had J's full in game so I'm glad I just called but I think it should be a fold if it's not going to be a shove

is this stars.fr or are you outing yourself for multiaccounting?
        06-26-2013 , 07:35 PM
i upload all of my raw hand histories for review into an online hand history converter where i store all of the hands i'd like to send other people via skype/fb. there's button to convert their converted HH directly into a 2p2 converted hand, it just used my name i use on the hand converter site, instead of my stars name. hand was from s500 2 weeks ago iirc.

anyways. i thought it was best to bet 2x, because he can have a lot of QhX hands. I think i'd be more likely to check turn if the Q on the board was also a heart. (agree/disagree?)

after putting so much in the pot, i wanted to be sure that check/fold river wasnt too weak. it sure felt weak at the time for whatever reason, but looking at how easy it is for him to have all the combos that crush me, i definitely made a mistake

WSOP Millionaire Maker two hands after we got into the money blinds are 600/1200/200

The first hand after the bubble I called a utg+1 ~3k shove from the bb without even looking at my cards. He had A6o and held.

Next hand Im in the small blind with about 41k after posting. The same shortstack open shoves ~8k. Folds to HJ in seat 10 who thinks for about 15-20s, then the CO in seat 1 folds out of turn not seeing that HJ still had cards and the btn folds out of turn too.

Action is still on HJ who thinks about 15 more seconds and shoves about 70k. My reads on him was he was late 30s, he had been kinda passive maybe only 1-2 3bets in a couple hours. I saw him open limp QJo in ep. He also called off his stack a couple times with a flush draw, one time without odds but he was shortish then, and one time with odds.

What are we calling off with here?
        07-18-2013 , 01:22 PM
        WSOP 3k event

I have 19,400 at 800/1600/200. My table sucks, has many well known pros and good online regulars on it. We're on day two, something like 40 away from the dollars.

Old guy opens to 3500 from MP. He's been pretty tight. Stevie444 flats two to his left, decent German right next to him flats, folds to me in the bb with 33. Setmine? rip? fold?
        07-18-2013 , 05:50 PM
I would set mine. You dont offer stacksizes though. Fold is the worst option.
        07-18-2013 , 06:31 PM
they all have heaps, 40 bbs+
        07-18-2013 , 06:36 PM
Gii cant be bad. But just calling allows you to see what happens post.
        07-19-2013 , 05:50 PM
even german wont fold a lot for that price although dead money role fits him perfectly imo.

        Like calling as well.

Shove 33 joey. Or make it 12500 and confuse everyone.
        07-24-2013 , 06:31 AM
villain is very competent hs cash player, i understand him to be pretty splashy. he has a call open >10 in my somewhat limited sample. not a lot of flop raises, but know he's certainly capable. no real history between the 2 of us, he probably recogizes my name, but has no clue about me or my game.

thoughts on line up to this point? thoughts on what to do on river? thoughts on shoving turn? thoughts on having AdA(H,C) here vs having the As, and how it affects how we play the hand? thoughts on what my range looks like?
