Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

I never post, but do read occasionally. What do I do with AA on bubble and should I shove AJ in sb from a co shove when we are all shallow? Is this real life?

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

$108r on Party.

OR is Jwprodigy, I have him as 21/17 in 120 hands.
he was active but I`m not sure those stats can applied to his minraise range 10bb deep.

3bettor is a reg break-even at $60 abi -- 13/10/4 in 400 hands.

He snap jammed so I assumed he`s not that strong and jam at least 5% range which is ok, but Jw is still here with 10bb stack.

If you call TT, do you go looser?

I had std stats fwiw -- 15/14/7.

Re: ***HSMTT QUICK CHECKUP THREAD***

Final table of a live $1350 satty to a 10k event, 8 left with 5 getting a seat and 6th getting nothing.

Table is a mix of really tough and really bad satty players, some playing correct/better than me sat strategy while others are playing awful

History: I had moved in from LP earlier with KQ and got called by A9 next to me and I got there to double, since then I have been blinded down to my current stack (about 2 orbits). I have small history with villain where I squeezed from the BB v his raise and two callers earlier in the tourney and he had seen me move all in roughly once an orbit when we were down to 2 tables.

SB is a pokerstars pro playing correctly, BB defends way too wide for a satty but I’m not sure if Villian sees this (saying this re villians opening range)

Villian is a good MTT player, but I think hes playing too MTT than satty for this event. This is the 3rd out of 4 hands he had opened, one got through while the other he raise folded to an all in. He had 3bet folded AJ from the SB earlier to preserve his healthy stack

I have 20k at 1.5/3k/300 in MP and we are 8 handed, stacks look something like

Hero: 20k
Awful/passive/loose player: 25k
PS Pro: 25k
Bad but tight player 35k
Tight/bad/really wants a seat player: 40k

The rest are all competent but not perfect and have over 60k

UTG opens to 6000, folds to hero in MP with 44

I'm assuming no fold equity here

Not even close if the game conditions suggest you can win pots without showdown.

I'm more curious about how you knew he had AJ earlier, I wonder why he thought showing his cards was good.

boccia I would just fold, I think u are 25-30% 3way here usually, you can't afford to bet him out of the sidepot to make him fold out a club on the turn, you block some Kingbroadway combos also

Line check in 320 super KO. Villain is scandinavian, playing 35/24 17 3b over 60 hands.
Turn is quite bad for me but it adds some more draws for his range too..
Does the fact that its saturday superknockout makes c/calling turn and blank rivs alot worse?

Don't size KK this small especially if SB is a fish, sizing 2.5x instead isn't going to affect his flat/flat range or his shove range.

KQ is a really easy jam in the Super-KO, you cover! Bounties are a thing!

Close spot, I think just 1300-GII, people play too straightforward in multi-way pots so you have just tons of FE on the flop

$225 turbo sat to Party $1k.
      64 starters => 12seats + 3 ITM.
Around 30-40 left and average is ~6k I guess.

Villain is HS reg with decent results on small sample, was moved here an orbit ago, 1st time he`s opening.
His stats generally - 21/16/18 - 3 bet in 38 hands. Seems aggro.
But anyway since there`s a shortstack behind him and there no SB posted I can assume his range pre must be pretty narrow.

      Unsure about pre.
Turn seems like an easy fold vs decent player in satellite.

villain is a Romanian running 24/19 w/ 8 % 3b over 90 hands, he doubled up flatting a 3b w/ asqs and got it in on jsTsx flop . Ive seen 1 other showdown from him that was standard so I don't have much of a read, I did just 3b out of the blinds last orbit but ive only 3b twice in 2 hours

im mostly posting this to see if im perceiving his range correctly... Thoughts on his range?

SM, I played 2 hands in a row before this. Both villains are bad and have little clue what they are doing. UTG+1 is spewy and can be r/calling too light or folding some small % of the time, but CO is never light here. Do we get it in?

We have less than 30BB vs two "bad" villains who have "little clue" and we have AKs. Why in the world would we not get it in?

Why is CO never light when he is bad with little clue?

I should have mentioned that they and especially CO have been more passive bad. I've seen CO not willing to stack off w JJ 40bbs deep and w TT and 99 30bbs deep and his other tendencies allowed me to make assumption that he should be never light here.

Getting ready to play the WSOP and wanted to ask a dumb gen Q here:

Are large over bets on the river seen as the nuts or a bluff VS PROS and experienced players (I think vs fish and amateurs its for value and rarely a bluff) ?

iow - do the beckon a fold or a call?

Lets say you have 95 otb. you open and a pro or good tag calls in the bb. Stacks are 40-50bb effective. Our image is tag.

Flop come T42r. Hero cbets and vil calls.
turn is 2. We check back.
River is Q (or other bwy other than an Ace).

we over bet the pot. (lets say the pot is 48000 and we bet 50000) I know it depends and all vs the villian blah blah - but I'm just wondering what the TREND is for this move.

I like your optimism about how your main event is going to go
