I think if you bet the turn to get value from worse jacks and maybe 7X, then I think betting river to do the same is cool. Also, to not be polar there makes you so much tougher to play against.
    06-19-2012 , 12:31 PM
I don't have to bet KJ to be unpolarized on this river, all of the hands I was bluffing with on the turn got there.

Live £165 tourney. Structure - 45 min clock 15k starting stack.

2nd level young Chinese kid opens CO to 250 @ 50/100. Aggro guy on the button who seems pretty good 3bets to 800. I'm in the BB with AKo...I? CO has ~ 15k both me and button have ~ 20k.

Would this be a standard flat for most people? Would feel I'd get owned a fair amount OOP against a good player who knows my range is capped at like 99-JJ and AQ/AK.

If we are 4betting what are our plans if we get 5bet? Wouldn't be comfortable 6bet jamming AKo praying they are light this early in a live tourney where I feel I have a pretty good edge.

    Thoughts?
    06-25-2012 , 08:33 AM
Sunday 100r, do not recognize villain and he's playing 13/11.

Do we c/c river or b/f? He's repping uhmm nothing here, but still I didn't feel like calling.

      @wakes
I think you can flat and mostly play a 3way pot. Yes you are OOP but if you hit the 3bettor will barrel a ton. 4bet/fold also possible, dont think getting in any more is good without an extreme history and you have nice blockers.
      06-26-2012 , 10:18 PM
rocky; seems like hes bluff raising Ad Kd or Qd blocker here often, peeling turn. At least I would lvl myself here and end up calling. Your riverbet also looks really weak and your range to bet/call is maybe AJdd AQdd KQdd and add the fact that your river bet is really weak, i think he can discard those hand combos out of your range most often. That leaves the only value hands left that would blocker would be TT or JJ

+ If hes got Qd or Ad he can remove 2 of your three possible combo's you can have there that you can comfortably call with.
      06-27-2012 , 08:34 AM
Dunno if you can assume an unknown player is on that level. He could have checked back or turned/rivered a set as well, but no clue if he's raising those. Might be better to check/call without much info.
      06-27-2012 , 11:10 AM
Who was villain? Not seeing any names doesnt help commenting on the hand. Didnt see it was a complete random that changes things, but still i dont assume he would check back 88 there to raise on the turn. Especially since the board becomes even more drawy.
      06-27-2012 , 12:09 PM
Totilas team, a dutch guy I never saw before. I'm still not convinced if it's a call or not. Should have c/c'd in hindsight. One of those weird spots where you very rarely see someone flipping over a bluff.

S500 vs 23/17/7 russian over 108 hands, seems solid

c/c river, i think there are not many hands he will check flop behind and call you off on 2 later streets, therefore i like a check more to induce spazz from random hands, cause your line looks so weak, and its ok if he checks behind some random AJ, cause he is not calling this river anyway

not sure where to post this but seems like the smart guys are all around here so I'll interject... - I want to get some HS online MTT coaching/hand reviews and am not seeing many suitable ppl in the coaching forum. I'd prefer to do this in exchange for sng or mixed game coaching but will also consider paying for it at reasonable hourly rates. If you play HS online MTTs regularly ($100+) and are well known/have good long term results pls pm me offers/suggestions/questions. Mods pls move if theres somewhere more suitable for this is HSMTT. thanks.

agree feels gross folding when we are underrepped and folding TPTK without putting a chip in, but I think the chances that we have them both beat are slim and if we do now, we are still fading something like AhQh

Hi, I havn't played a rebuy or add on tourney in a while. Im tying to iron out my wcoop schedule. If its a $320 buy in with one rebuy and add on is the rebuy/add on $320 or $300? thx a lot.

assuming 20 is the rake right.

you raise t8+ otf, so you barely rep any FH by the river and not many other 8x in your range pre, you also mostly raisee J9 and most flushes ott vs tiny bet., just calling w OPs otr.
