ALways folding in that spot without a lot of history with opponent.
If you are ahead there are way too many turns/rivers you will have to fold to anyway, so save yourself 500 and wait for another spot.

Check the flop.

mehh. tough spot. Our eq is nvr rlly good here but dont like folding neither. I guess i would flat and assuming he'll never check we get it in on all blank turns.

Doubt hell flat Q9s there so maybe 99 KQs AQs etc. we still beat a decent amount of combos and we still have position. OOP we fold.

Cant flat 3 bet because it puts you in an akward spot. 4 betting is risky, but I would proboally cut my losses and fold.

He has 3bet my EP open 1 round earlier and I folded. He's only been at table for 13 hands and he's 31/31 w 2/6 3bets. iirc his last 3bet might have been closer to 2.5x than this one.

^That's insane to r/f to a random imo. I would just shove and hope to get a call from AK.
    03-05-2012 , 12:40 AM
decided to make it 147k cause I really wanted to get called and called his shove (was getting like 9-1)
    03-05-2012 , 10:07 AM
    I'd just call

agreed. flop checkback and then sizing it so big on turn/river makes him seem pretty polarized, and i don't think we beat any of the good hands in his polar range. i don't think he'd call a raise with worse very often at all
    03-05-2012 , 12:17 PM
gave him 1/3 of aces combos (that he might checkback otf from time to time I suppose) and it gives me 52% equity (against hands that might call a raise) so since I don't expect him to 3bet bluff otr maybe x/cib/fold is an option

    Hand 1: 52.174% 43.48% 08.70% 70 14.00 { KQo }

and I didnt include hands like K7s/K5s, so I figured out cib/fold is prolly going to be the best

you have to include K7, Q7etc way more likely than AK, KQ imo.

his sizing in generell + adding a 707 to the even 50k makes me paraonid( think people a more polarized when they change betting patterns , id flat river.

With those reads I would shove river with KQ.
I wouldn't fold pocket jacks, but I might if I had like 12k.

Fold the JJ. Might fold the river w the KQ, def not raising.

I might fold the turn with KQ and I might check the turn with KQ as well, folding the river is insanity with what we know about villain and given that it's 5 handed.

Tourney is the millball. Villain is a competent reg running like 20/17/7 over a decent sample. We've been in a 3b pot or two but no one has really gotten out of line. I rly ***** hate calling turn/folding river but thought it might have merit with the board texture. So do we wanna fold turn? Ever contemplate a call once weve gotten to the riv?
