FTOPS 6 max over pair vs solid reg FTOPS 6 max over pair vs solid reg

Villain is a solid winning reg 270k in profits if name is important I can give it. I was playing a little looser earlier but when my table starting piling on the ftops jerseys I slowed down a bit.

Only history with the villain is a hand where he completed the sb i raised bb with trash he called k 10 flopped a king and called my flop bet on k j 8 turn j c/c river was a blank and he checked and i got snapped obvi. He was playing very solid TAG. I'm curious whats the best course of action in this somewhat regular ugly spot any help is always appreciated and if this is a fold what do we do with JJ QQ KK AA etc.

i check flop n barrel turn for alot of reasons. As played i'd prolly call the raise and peel ott.

Don't check back the flop. When he check/raises it's honestly probably a flop fold. I'd probably peel flop and fold turn in game though.

best play peel but u might then be sort of playing ur hand face up. depending on your previous read you could shove. i think 80% of your decision is based on how he thinks you are playing and how he has been playing previously.

Not sure why he would take such a strong line with a set on such a non threatening board.

I think you can call and let him keep barreling.

Its either a set or nothing imo. Yeah its a strong line but its the kind of board where you can't really believe he has it if he expects you to ship it with overpairs. I prob just call and reevaluate turn tho.
