90 runners with 9 seats to the Main.

Down to 32 players left, I was just moved to the table an orbit and a half ago haven't done anything except 3bet shove from BB over button open he folded. I'm in SB this hand folded to me I hold J7 with about 11.5bb with blinds just gone up this hand. BB has around 25bb, average is around 15bb. Last orbit he showed and folded KQo after opening in EP and jammed on by 15bb. He also flatted 33 in MP and folded to a jam. He's a pro but probably not very good given those 2 hands. He's been opening frequently but folding a lot, as in wasting chips/ICM basically.

Is pre a fold for me, call and hope he checks back, or jam?

Anyway I called(thought this was clearly best, maybe I'm wrong), he checked back.

Flop A44 I cbet 3/5 pot he called.

Turn 8 pot's almost 5bb I have 9bb left what's our line?

1. from what u say about villain PF should be jam >>>> complete >> fold

2. u can't c-bet if u didn't raise pre, so u prolly led for ~60% of the pot

3. I think leading here against villain is not terrible because he seems to be weak so u will get the occasional fold, but overall what r u trying to rep? pretty much everyone knows if u had and Ace in ur hand or some mid PP u woulda shoved pre. on top of that, it's highly unlikely u have a 4 for various reasons: 1st, there's already two 4s on the flop. 2nd, a lot of hands that contain one of the 4s left in the deck woulda just folded pre (i.e., J4o, T4o, 94o). 3rd, sometimes when u do have a 4 u will check the flop for deception, so by leading we can't give u credit for all of the few possible combos containing a 4.

if u decide to semibluff the turn, ur just crossing ur fingers hoping that he floated the flop with complete air. otherwise I think u get called here every time by trip 4s, Ax (although a lot of players in the BB woulda just pushed pre with Ax after ur SB limp, it is definitely still part of his range), and the flush draw.

i'd just check hoping he checks behind and I get a free card.

jam pre not close

insta jam pre for sure.

as played, i bet 5 BBs turn, never folding to his shove. he doesn't have an ace but could have a 4, but that is less likely than not having a 4. his call was a float, he could even have 23, 35, 25 floating with a gutshot and ready to take it away on the turn.

check and hope he checks back

Jam pre. Hand has to much equity for me to want to be ever limp folding this unless I had a read that he'd never shove on me light.

As played I'd b/f 2.5x on the turn, then shoving most rivers if called to fold out his k and q highs that he won't have the stones to call you off with.

Hard to rep anything shoving 9bb into 5bb here, and without a read I wouldn't expect him to be pure floating this board enough to want to c/r or c/c.

Easy shove pre, especially in a satty and the way u described villain

yup I made a mistake, probably marginal but it's never good to get cute with things OOP BvB.

as played he floated me on the flop with Q8(wtf) hit turn and tankshoved(I call of course). I think his flop float was terrible but whatever, I should've just jammed it pre as I normally would.

His flop float is not terrible. You don't play a 4, an ace, or pocket pair like that, or most kings either. Your shoving those all in pre. And if you did happen to limp with a 4 or an Ace wouldn't you be checking to him?

Why do you of course call the turn all in? I didn't see you note the sizing you bet on the turn but it seems most certainly bad.
