Day 2 Main Event tptk Day 2 Main Event tptk

Been at table for around 3 hours, my image is probably viewed as being loose passive as i have been playing a lot of hands in position and the times i have been the aggressor i've either shown a strong hand or have gotten folds. I have also shown a few fairly "big laydowns" I'm in seat 9, villain is in seat 4 , and is a sicko online player who has had great live results (80k+), and has been playing fairly tag (maybe running like 15/13 or equiv) and has not gotten out of line.

I am wearing a "Poker Tracker" patch on my hat and on my shirt, so i should be viewed as a semi competent player/"Internet kid". I have about 50k and got to the table with 30k.

Blinds are 300-600 + 75, folds to V who raises to 1325, folds to me i have AJo otb and call. Blinds fold. Flop is J83r, V cbets 1300, i call. Turn is 9d (adds a flush draw, i dont have Ad), V checks, i bet 3k, he tanks for about 30secs-1min and raises to 8k.

I know that his range here is polarized, his line makes little logical sense and is thus nearly always a strong value hand or a draw/air (likely a flush draw or pair + straight draw). My question is this: Is their range truly polarized often enough to warrant a call/shove or are they going to be unbalanced here most of the time (have value) due to the fact that i will be viewing it as being polarized.

Plan A: Fold
Plan B: Call, call river bets on blank rivers
Plan C: Raise turn/call shove.

Which is best? Any other plans possible? Why?

I'd probably fold now. I'd also probably raise the flop, and I might 3-bet pre, depending on the blinds.

I would prob call and attempt to soul read rivers.

i see the advantages of raising the flop, but dosn't this usually put us into some really rofl tough spots when this deep (or at least high variance), even when in position (like when we get 3bet). Thus shouldn't the disadvantages, of raising flop, generally outweigh the advantages when this deep+ lol live poker + Main Event...?

What do you think his range to call your flop raise is? Stove it against AJo, see how it does.

Of the hands that fold to a flop raise, how many are barreling insignificant turns? How many have significant equity against your hand?

Your hand is extremely strong right now; you're really comfortable (or you should be) getting two bets in on the flop. The fact that you aren't comfortable doing so on a turn that doesn't improve many hands should suggest to you that your hand is a lot better on the flop than it is on most turns.

I think raising the flop is fine, but it also probably works a lot better when you have NSB's image.

I'd like to know more about villain, but I feel pretty good about folding turn. It's pretty close to the bottom of our turn vbetting range and if villian wants to play for stacks he needs to get at least 4 bets in postflop so I expect him to c/r a lot of his super bladed hands.
