B162 FT KQ UTG 6handed with 20 BB's B162 FT KQ UTG 6handed with 20 BB's

Me and opp were pretty active at the FT bubble, so lots of 3-4 beting between us. he have seen me opening 97s utg 8handed since i called shortstacks 6BB AI, so def knows i'm wide here. i think he can be light here bcause of my stack and one shortstack left, so ... easy ship...?
don't know about his sizing, i would 3bet less if i'm strong and smth like that if i'm light, cause now seems like he's not leaving enough room for a fold...

Don't think he's light too often here given positions and his own stack size. I guess the better he is the more I can dig a shove pre but in general nooooo

I am not a big fan of pushing KQ without fe and in this spot he is giving himself almost 2:1.

How aggro was the dynamics? In sounds nitty, but if there is a sick aggro 3-bet dynamics you might have to fold KQ utg because you don't have the stack to 4-bet ship.

You prob have FE but it doesnt matter, his value range crushes KQ and there isn't enough reason to suspect he is bluffing enough, also r/f KQ pre is part of a well balanced strategy so there is not even a concern about being exploited.

The point is he isn't bluffing enough, I am too lazy to calculate but a rough estimate from the top of my head is that he needs to be bluffing about 2/3 of the time before you can start to consider pushing as +$EV. So if his value range is 3.5% then he needs to be bluffing another 7% on top, which is like 23 suited combos.

I think his raise-callingrange for value is wider than 3.5% with the described dynamics. I don't see any point folding hands like 88 or AJs in his spot, given the fact that hero is a very light opener, and I suppose his 3-bettingstyle is some how balanced so he doesn't shove his marginal value-ish hands.

About balancing: If it is sick likely we are going to be 3-betted, and sometimes the dynamics and your image is so, that you very, very often will, I don't see any point having a raise-folding-range 20bb deep.

thanks for answers. i also think his 3bet value range is much wider than 3.5 % . i think its more like { 88+,AJs+,AQo+} which is around 6 % , and i have ~ 32 % , so based on that if he's light there at least like 15 % of the time its + chip EV

considering you guys are the 2 shortest stacks, i like a fold. If one of the big stacks 3 bet i'd be more apt to shove her

I agree with this. Your almost always gonna get snapped here when a 30bb stack 3 bets your 20bb stack. Fold and 3 bet shove soon after lol
