5 KO.. tight fold? 5 KO.. tight fold?

11-22-2011 , 03:50 PM
Villain 1 hadn't been at table long so unsure of playing style
Villain 2 was playing pretty LAG over about 20/30 hands so not much of a sample

Any thoughts from turn onwards please.. I'm still undecided on the turn fold, I had a very strong feeling I'm only down to a redraw as the flush and straight draws both hit turn (leaning much more towards flush obviously) and i just can't call half my stack to hit the river when I think I am behind. Am i a n00b? What do you do different? Is the turn check too passive? I had about 3500 behind on turn.

flop bet is too small for a multi way pot. sure, it completes a FD but how many viable flush draws do these players have in their range? i dont like your turn check make your life easy by betting the turn and see how they react. ask yourself if i lead the turn what hands that i beat will they continue with.

dont play this high is also bad advice. you can beat up 10$-50$ tournaments all you like you will never progress as a player unless you are willing to play outside your comfort zone against tough fields to start a new learning curve.

Yeah I would lay this down here, atleast 1 of them will have a flush and we're not closing the betting.

Ok, how many of you dislike the turn check? And if you lead the turn, how much of your 3500 stack do you put in to an 1800 pot to get info?

chk / fold in mway pot is fine , but i would still lean towards 745/fold.

We need to figure out what range of hands flatted you preflop and what range of hands just call the flop. Is 79s in villian 2s range pre? What suited range is he calling with pre? AQ? AK? Discounting AJ since you hold 2 of them, what about KQs, ATs, 67s? If villain two has 44,88 or TT is he flatting or raising this flop? My guess would be raise after the flop action so I'm ruling out a set.

I think villain 2 got there. Due to his sizing I'm thinking it's 67dd,79o/79ss,AQs,AKs,KQs. After thinking more about this hand your laydown seems good I still don't know what the best turn line is tho. I think you played it well. Just goes to show how hard it is to play OOP in multi way pots lol.
