How is the tournament raking in Aviation Club? I was looking for coming tournaments in www.pokerineurope.com but there is no rake after buy-ins for tournemnets in Aviation.
Like it is € 2000 + rake 200 in other locations (Casinò Ca' Noghera etc.), but there's just buy in € 2000 and no rake in Aviation tournaments.
Is there any rake in tournaments? Included in buy-ins maybe or collected hourly?
i am heading to Europe in June for a wedding and plan to go to Paris and then to Nice or Monte Carlo. (sorry dont speak French only English)
Couple of Questions:
1. Is Monte Carlo worth the extra $ to go there
2. Would i have just as good a time in Nice and it looks like the games spread in Nice are smaller stakes than Monte Carlo is this true.
3. Do Casinos in Nice and Monte Carlo also charge membership fees?
I unfortunately will be on a limited bankroll, so will have to worry about what I put on the table.
oh and 4. are souviner chips fround upon like could I take a e$5 chip with me when I leave the casinos ACF or do they see that as stealing, etc....I dont want to be talking to cops in a foreign country to be honest but I collect chips from around the world.
My wife and I will be going to Paris in two weeks. Not alot of time for poker but we would like to visit a casino for an evening. Is there one that does not have yearly dues? We are looking for a quiet night out and some table games. Thanks
Une tenue correcte est exigée : les chaussures de sport (baskets), les T-shirts et les jeans déchirés ne sont pas acceptés. Le port de la chemise et des chaussures de ville est obligatoire.
A shirt and business shoes are required
TShirts are banned
Jeans seem to be okay if they are clean and not torn down
hi guys, im planing to move somewhere to grind live poker? at the moment afc club is at the top of my list. whats about the cannes casino?
i wanna play 2/5 better 5/10 and maybe higher.
was thinking about monaco too. good action there i suppose`? cost of living really that sick?
Actually the long version is more like that a new regulation passed that only allows online poker that licensed with the french government would be allowed to operate for tax purposes. But it would only be open to those living in France so they can't play players outside of the border. That's what I heard, someone correct me if I am wrong. Worry about what would happen in the US if similar regulation passed. Why can't they just leave us alone?
What hapens is that now there are going to be TWO pokerstars, a little bit like it is in Italy
First a pokerstars.fr with extra rake for the calculation-challenged persons who can't recognize when a game cannot be beat because of the rake, or who just don't mind being losing players, and then there is our goood old pokerstars.com for the rest of us.
If your account is not French you should be able to keep using pokerstars.com even from France if you can prove (utility bills) that your main residence is not in France.
In any other case... bad luck but you may try using a vpn to disguise your IP
