Thanks guys. Originally was planning 180lbs. But I think I may go an extra 5-10 down to 170-175ish.

See how I feel at 180 and go from there.

Yeah, you always end up needing to lose more than you think (unless you're EV). You're pretty close to being done, though.

Suggestions for good secondary leg exercises, tried Front Squats but don't really like'em, Leg Press is aids, and Leg Extension things are alright I guess. But I need to spice leg day up a bit.

Deadlifts continue to be the lift where I've lost the least strength. Was hoping to get a few more than 3, but oh well.

Chins are frustrating, was expecting them to get better as I lost weight, but I seem to be plateauing around 3x6. Will keep grinding them though.

Rows are meh, don't really like chainsaw rows much, might sub this one out for something different.

Been helping my sister move from her house, so haven't had time to go to the gym in a week between work and moving and random nonsense. Glad to get back to the grind though.

Workout was solid, probably could have done more on bench but I figure I'll ease back in after a week off.

Diet continues onward. Had a few write off days due to some friends visiting from out of town. But whatevs.

I was hypothesizing last night after my workout that maybe I store a lot of weight in my legs/ass area, which is why my Squats have fallen off a cliff since dieting. Is that a thing? Or is that just the bro-science in me coming out?

Workout was good overall, but my legs still feel super weak when squatting. Feels like I just don't have the endurance for anything more than 4 or 5 reps at a decently heavy weight.

Plan to start adding either lunges or split squats to my next leg workout.

Opinions on Shrugs? Are they at all useful. Really don't like the exercise but my workout buddy is all bout dem shrugs so if they're actually useful I'll keep doing them, but otherwise ****'em.

Press felt good, probably could have gone heavier, I've been pretty lax as far as sticking to the actual 5/3/1 programming and just going with whatever feels right on that particular day. Should probably rectify that going forward. Specially once the diet is wrapped up.

Really need to stop skipping days. Was supposed to go Friday, but then had stuff come up, and same with Sunday. Not a huge deal as I still got all 4 lifts in in 8 days instead of 7. But can definitely feel it after 3-4 days off.

Not much to say, another squat day, another day lifting 275 for 5. I probably should up it next week :P

Meant to add another leg exercise but forgot to look at some videos before going so just stuck with stiff-leg's for accessory for now. Will make it a point to add something new next week.

Dieting continues to be a struggle. I manage a Dairy Bar in my hometown as a summer job, so everyday I've got access to soft and hard ice cream, hot dogs, chips, and slushies for free. That **** just calls my name all day mang. And of course I'm living with the family this summer, and they eat out pretty much every other night.

My life is a dark abyss.

Press felt surprisingly good considering how hard I've been cutting lately. I had had a few days of weakness the week prior and had ballooned back up to 190 (obv lots of water weight involved too).

Back down to 186lbs this morning. Goal as of right now is to hit 175lbs by Sept. 27th for my buddies wedding. Think I already mentioned that? Anyway, onwards and upwards (or downwards in weight in this case).

Been moving and starting classes the past week so haven't been going to the gym. Decided to head back today and check out the school's weight room. Place is basically a ghetto. But it has a power rack and doesn't seem to be very busy. So it'll do.

Decided to just go light today after being off over a week. Felt good to get back to it.
