Bench felt pretty solid, did some inclined press and some flies afterwards. Probably going to start dieting tomorrow. Want to drop probably 30+lbs. Currently weighing 225, so I think I'd like to get down to at least 190 before going back to gainz.
Forgot to update this week. Whoops. Workouts went well, lifts are starting to feel heavier which is nice, specially after a few weeks of them feeling super light starting out on the 5/3/1.
Workout was good, could have gotten 2 or 3 more squats on my last set but I didn't notice that my buddy that I workout with had put on the safety bars (is that what their called?) for his last set, and he's about a 1/2 foot taller than me, so I ended up bumping the safety bar on my 5th rep which ****ed up my set. Was really happy with 7 reps of 145 for press, considering my PR is 5x150lbs
My form on my first rep of my last set was absolutely horrid. Going to be working on form this coming deload week. Probably going to do some squats each day and post a vid or two.
Workout was pretty meh, but mainly because I've been sick with the flu the past few days so I was feeling pretty weak. Happy to at least get back to the gym.
