BRahs, I facked some **** up with my lower back in september doing meadows rows. It's mostly healed now. I can deadlift no problem, but I'm still feeling discomfort with hbbs and any type of rowing other than machine rowing. I've been FSing exclusively for a few months now.

This lead to a bit of knee tenderness so I stepped of the gas for a while just to be safe. I tried LBBS AND HBBS last session and found 0 pain with LBBS even though I still have pain with hbbs. Why could this be?

fwiw the lower back pain is only on the left side and happens even on baby weights like 40kg. I have 0 when dling or fsing.

Was just browsing OOT and saw that, in addition to not even lifting anymore (did he ever, though, really?), Ygos appears to be a regular contributor to the fast food thread. My, how the struggling-to-be average have fallen.

Thought that would be a link to QB's thread. Was not disappointed.

I've always lurked that thread although rarely eaten much fast food (preferring to eat out at local, closer places). However, ever since I've done allergy shots I've had a hard time staying away from a nearby Taco Bell and their $5 boxes.

My weight has stayed steady at optimal dadbod levels, though, so it's not so bad. However, it perhaps does get in the way of potential progress I might make losing weight.

In other news I've completed 4 or 5 planned workouts in a row!

Gonna guess its a combination of the degree to which you arch your back coupled with where the load is positioned since a HBBS position is basically the same height as a front squat. It might even be a foot stance position. Wider stance is gonna engage more glute which might pull on the pelvis awkwardly if the QL is being a *****.

my widths have always been fs>hbbs=lbbs. FS just always felt comfortable wider for whatever reason.

lbbs+fs is not the end of the world though for any purposes.

I was r/hardbody at some point? Lol

Taco Bell $5 boxes are hard to beat!

Curiosity (with a bit of anatomy thinking) more than anything: were the rows you were doing with your right or left?

I'm leaning towards they were your right.

Spicy Double Chalupa box imo.

What are the macros and calories for these different $5 boxes? I am surprised someone with a Beamer hits up the Toxic Belch.

I'm surprised you were even browsing that thread. I can't imagine you eating fast food under pretty much any circumstances.

Yeah, you're gonna need to translate that some more.

How does this lead to Aussies being dominated by NZ? I imagine Aotearoans can play in Aussie leagues and vice versa. I assume that kids in NZ don't play aussie rules (do they? idk). So, if 100% of interested NZ kids go into rugby, whereas only 50% of Aussie kids do (and based on salary it seems like they would probably do slightly better if they played rugby), that would explain it with equally populated places. But Aus is so much larger, that even if only half of their suitably talented individuals choose rugby, they should still be better or at least competitive. Getting their asses routinely handed to them still seems like a very surprising outcome.

More morbid curiosity than anything.

If I need to grab something quickly in between flights, I'll grab something like Chick Fil-A or Chipotle where I can control the macros a bit and get something half decent, even though it's still a sodium bomb.

As it happens, I'm stuck in Newark right now thanks to a delayed connection and managed to find a premade Cibo Greek Chicken Wrap for under 500 calories. I'm on vacation for the next week and change, so I don't really care, but it's still nice not to go too off the rails.
07-07-2017 , 06:05 PM
Excess sodium intake is super super overrated as a worry.
07-07-2017 , 06:08 PM
I never said I was worried about it for health reasons.
07-07-2017 , 06:12 PM
Trying to keep those deep cuts.

Sodium goat.

Yeah and I checked the Aussie rules team names and was shocked, shocked at the lack of colorful, ridiculous ones. I really thought that would be their thing, but the majority of teams literally don't even have a name other than "*City Name Here* Football Club" and most of the rest are the Lions. Only one I can even remember is the Sydney Swans and that's just because it's a terrible name! I think it was only in the northern territories that Crocs or Roos appeared. What happened to the Platypuses, Koalas, Wallabys, or Jellies? Why the hell do you have so many teams named the Magpies? Also, if you're in Tasmania do you just call them the Devils and if so what's a non-Tasmanian devil called?

And if this were America we'd have several teams named the aborigines or thinly veiled slurs amounting to the same. Have you guys even tried that?

Are the team names better in your other sports? Do you not have any "Road Warriors" anywhere?
07-07-2017 , 06:25 PM
Monte,

Are you worried we're running out of salt and you're trying to be frugal with it?
07-07-2017 , 06:27 PM
Mihkel,

No, sadly I'm just a supposedly adult male concerned with the definition of my man-chache region. At least until there's some good ice cream and floor bourbon to be had.
07-07-2017 , 06:32 PM
What is that suppose to mean?
07-07-2017 , 06:44 PM
Mihkel,

It's a normie thing.
07-07-2017 , 06:55 PM
Sounds like it.
