Good job ordering the food scale plus vegies spotted! Who was telling fibs about you never eating vegetables? lol

Is the peanut butter really necessary? I eat a breakfast of oatmeal, peanut butter and fruit pretty much every day. I'm always aiming to pack at least 1k calories in to the bowl. Today I ran out of peanut butter so I subbed it with greek yogurt. Ended up being like 660 calories and way, way harder to finish. Those ~three hundred calories will add up pretty significantly over the course of the year.

Not sure how I felt about the single can of Dr P, was kind of like half a blow job, sure its nice to get, but its not really how you want things to go.

Dinner may look like I was being a typical fatass, but pretty impressed with myself that I a) only had one side b) only ate half a sandwich, and most impressively c) turned down dessert.

I like the way you were reducing. I wouldn't count on myself in that respect at this point. I have changed diet completely, you kind of are eating the cake and having it too.

Weighing everything once helped me drop 10 lbs in a month. It was between 1000 and 1200 cal every single day.

Was too much of a project though, must be too lazy, anyhow don't use it this time around.

But it was interesting to watch the natural forces work. I didn't give a **** about if the weight didn't go down in a week. It just had to eventually. The good part was I could eat ten times a day if needed, everything went on the scale. A carrot here, a slice of ham there.

So can you.

Gunna switch things up, kind of annoyed the number on the scale isnt going down, but I know I'm at least losing fat cuz I measured my waist and im at 39", and my pseudo bf% is lower for same weight, and ive been focusing on being better hydrated so maybe what little ive lost ive replaced with water.

I've been using my food scale, and honestly if anything I've found I probably have slightly over estimated food calories in the past (which is what I was going for, so good on me I guess), which is probably the opposite of most everyone who starts weighing food. And also I just don't really care anymore about adding up total calorie deficit, where it was kinda of fun at the start. I feel like I should still have some kind of goal tho to at least keep me focused. So going to do the same thing, but now instead using 2,320 as my base, Im going to use 1,820. So maybe the 500 calorie buffer will make up enough for the error in exercise, and the total calorie deficit will be more in line with any actual weight loss, and that will motivate me more.

On the whole tho, Im really happy with how things have gone so far. It's been a pretty big improvement over the last couple months

I envy your waistline. Knock off another inch and you'll be fine.

Also liking your realism vs cal content without actually weighing it. Weighing is of course better if having the resources to. Good to know that card can always ultimately be pulled.

I am not really good at estimating food at eating out, but have you checked calories in vegy burger against a normal one. Vegetarian options are not always the low caloric. Did they have something like a piece of some meat with a side of cooked/steamed/raw veggies without additional sauce?

Alobar,

Paste a menu link and I'll tell you what delicious thing you should have had instead of a terrible veggie burger!

could get veggies as a side with anything, I think problem was I didn't trust myself to stare at the menu too hard to find something else, because id just end up with a giant burger and mashed potatoes (they have the best mashed potatoes ever) and probably a side of beer mac
