Drpepper was invented by a pharmacist and has 9 teaspoons of sugar per can. Obviously I am theorizing as to how he invented it, but since it has 23 flavors, pretty sure it was random clicking of ingredients plus the 9 teaspoons of sugar.
Loco,
I think you are basically nice and really want to be helpful but you never really had food issues yourself. Don't you think that Alobar knows that a steak with veggies would be better than a pizza?
Just stating that a poster eats wrong food, and on top stating it in such high nosed form, like you have figured it all out ( You didn't. You just never had certain issues. ) is not helpful.
Food issues are complicated. One component in dealing with them is clearly to avoid malnutrition by investing calories in better stuff than Dr. Pepper. But there is a LOT more. And on the serious note, I wonder how comes that no one in HF ever tried to dig that one deeper.
My question on Dr. Pepper is directed specifically at Alobar. I want to know how it tastes for him? What makes Dr. Pepper so special for him?
Here is something I often do:

I do it completely without additional sugar/honey/syrup. You can add some and will still be a lot better than any sodas. You can vary fruits.
