you wrote at the beginning that you tried to have fruits and it didn't work because you were never satisfied. I found a good explanation:

Normally if you eat something, especially Dr. pepper = sugar (glucose!), you get insulin increase which stimulates leptin secretion. And leptin signals to your brain: "Life is good. Enough fat there."

Fruits have fructose, which differently to dr. Pepper does not trigger insulin release.

I run across the info in one russian trainer vid. So it makes no sense to link it here.

edit: it is not an indulgence for dr. Pepper.

^^ was not intended like that. I just found the explanation why the usual advice " eat fruit if you want some sweets " does not really work. I also believe that using will power to quit Dr. Pepper or anything else is doomed to failure. It is necessary to understand what exactly gives Dr. Pepper to you and find it somewhere else.

FTP training session was pretty easy, just 4 reps of 40secs above threshold with 20 seconds rest, and 3 sets of that. Felt really tired afterwards tho, maybe I should have done 2 rest days. Slept 11 hours lastnight, so we'll see how todays session feels.

yeah, im starting to get a little worried actually. Pretty much seems to be stuck at 202, even tho I've been about 1K calories under almost every day. I'm hoping that its just cuz I've been eating pretty late the last few nights.

You can always do a day on cucumber and kefir. Done without salt it guarantees a pound less in a day. Sadly three such days in a row don't guarantee 3 pounds less.

I never questioned her positive qualities. She is brave, smart in certain areas, handy, well intentioned, persistent, actually pretty.

That all is completely outweighed by her not seeing and not caring about emotional state of those around her.

Here if I could choose between Alobar keeping his money and M getting it.... I am definitely for Alobar keeping it if M gets it conditioned only on Alobar losing the bet.

But if 1000$ would make her get long term mental health care, she so should get it.
