My third pull is a dumpster fire. I also ripped a nickel sized chunk of skin off my right palm where my pinky callous is. Looks like un****ing it will be put on hold while I'm exiled to the squat rack. Met some bro who throws shotput. Only 18.85, but said he was 20. So guess that is k?

Waist measurement back in 7x.x, crisis averted. I've been sleeping like 10 hours a night.

Didn't drink last night. Woke up and felt terrible. Think my body needed some floor beer or some Chartreuse to help with recovery. I denied it both. w/e. Had a little thoratic rounding on rep 4 of set 7. Shockingly makes my lifts harder. Only two explanations: 1) Form better 2) light weight. k.

How you doing bud? How are you feeling? What’s going on in life outside of front squats?

Good. Good. Nothing really. I mean, nothing that I really post on public message boards. The internet is not a safe space and there are personal things we should keep to ourselves.

Oh. I feel mildly disgusted reading MLY giving N1H sex advice.

Welp, it finally happened. #6 was a case of deciding to derp my breathing up cause obviously the third rep of a max effort set is a good time to decide to change that up. lol @ breathing in at the top. **** that. #9 was pure InnerEV taking over. Knee had a loud pop in the hole on final set. Just dumped it. I have consulted my locally highly recommended shaman, who has promised me a poultice of baby blood and ground tiger penis. He promises he is better than even Emeril at making poultices and this will cure any ailment with my knee. Obviously I will not take the standard advice of just resting or going to a real medical doctor and trying their advice because those things literally could never work.

I also rested 9 minutes from set 3 onward, b/c I can.

NB: Obviously last workout is decent time to goto failure. One of the major derp derps that people do is trying to slather on too much volume with intensity on these programs, which is why people invariably complain that they don't work. At some point you gotta not be a ****tard/sperglord.

wrt N1H, I can't even. Glad he found someone who will s his d. I would not ask MLY for advice on women. Most women are terrible at giving advice on women. Actually most people are terrible at giving advice on anything. *furiously rubs nipples*

Got another blood blister on hand last workout, prob fine by next Olytard session. Got the flu on Saturday, prob shoulda bailed after set 2, but w/e. Can't fall prey to innerEV tho.

Went to gym at lunch hour. When I arrived there were 10 other people, 5 current/retired pros that I know. Only 3 were/are at the world class level tho. Seems like pretty standard lunchtime workout crowd.

People would have such a different perspective of their strength if that was the standard crowd...

I'm just trying usurp their success for my own. (per MLY)

It is great for perspective and cool to have smalltalk like: "Cool, you qualify for the Olympics? What # is this?" But ultimately much of it is super whatever and uninspiring. There is a competitive track athlete I never talk to who is probably 6'4 with a 40 inch inseam and likely weighs less than me. Obviously he is significantly stronger than I am. k. Also there is some girl who is std 5'10 blond hottie who is a chemical engineer or some nonsense who won nationals with like a 60s 400 hurdles (For perspective, she'd be done with the race hurdling while loco is coming out of the turn just running). There are a lot of levels between the pros and general people who even show up and lift for years. Just kinda gotta grind it out on your own and be content with that.

Then again tbf some of these people have competed internationally/continental level. I just don't care. They're just another person who I see at the gym for years on end.

NB: Apparently 4 of 5 I saw were senior World/Olympic competitors. Hard to keep track.
