Third time's the charm Third time's the charm

I feel like MLYLT should try to improve by only having 3 ice cream cones tomorrow, baby steps

I feel like there should be some type of medical procedure where they sear off the nerve endings of your tastebuds for this reason.

MLY, I would recommend getting some type of gastric bypass surgery if you are unwilling to see a psych pro. Anyone who can eat 4 cones In presumably 1 siting is a really sick person

Deadfish,
Gastric bypass surgery can potentially be dangerous especially if the surgeon is distracted

This is an idea that you need to to kind of realize. 4 cones is less than half of that mint ice cream, but it's understandable to binge on a pint (1 container of the smallest amount they generally sell) than to eat 1 cone, then another, then another, then another.

It's the same reason why it's so horrifying 2-3 triple cheeseburgers is even though people routinely order a pasta dish with bread that is the same amount of calories.

Eating a huge amount of calories sometimes as a treat is understandable, but eating the same thing multiple times in the same sitting because it activates so many endorphins is a big problem. It just shows a lack of self control, which is pretty much how people fail in all facets of life, not just health. Everyone has extenuating circumstances that makes it more difficult to control themselves, but when you start rationalizing THAT is is the reason why you're failing and it'll pass "soon" is when you're really damn ****ed.

If you talk to a bunch of alcohol or drug addicts, or homeless folk, they can give you a really good reason that you'll dismiss and think they can do better if they tried, but your problems are something they'll laugh at too given your relatively good situation.

The bottom line is, no more excuses, just I ate 4k calories today because I chose to, or 2k because I chose to is all you should be focused on.

People constantly eat their way right back to a normal sized stomach after gastric bypass. On that My 600lb Life show, the doc basically makes new patients lose 30lb in a month on their own before approving surgery, just to prove they have some sort of self-control and can follow a diet, otherwise there's no point in doing the surgery because they'll manage to gradually undo it. I don't think OP is a good candidate at all right now.

Also, they almost always require mental health counseling after the surgery as well, and since MLY knows better than all those quacks, that wouldn't happen.

Well unless someone else has experienced exactly what she has, they have no ability to provide any insight, advice, or assistance.

What's the purpose of even posting these "logs"? You're not even pretending to try anymore. This whole thread is just a 4-month celebration of unmitigated gluttony.

Here is a fun video. The title is "Big Beautiful Woman Funnel Feeder: BBW Wants To Be As Fat As Possible"
It is good to have goals.

Looks like MLY eats more French toast than that chick

I'm still hung up on the cardiologist story and can't stop myself, but I'll keep things more civil.

MLYLT: What do you think men find attractive in women? Do you think you are attractive? Why or why not? I mean strictly from a sexual arousal standpoint, not from the perspective of compatibility.

Just one ice cream cone. Progress!

I actually wonder at what point it’s +EV to go back to smoking IF it means you get the diet under control.

In a vacuum, are you better off being morbidly obese or a heavy smoker? Gotta be the latter. Now you’re already there obesity wise but if we said over the next year a return to smoking would lead to 100lb weight loss, I imagine both healthcare costs and mortality rate *should* drop.

Self-reporting is obv pretty LOL, since everyone is clocking in at a lower obesity rate due to imagining they're taller and lighter than they likely are.

There is little research done on the amount of smoking as well. I'm sure we can all agree that some woman sucking down a handful of virginia slims with her gfs over wine on the weekend is prob not going to have the health effects of a construction worker smoking 2 packs of Reds a day. Or whatever the **** those chinese taxi drivers smoke that make unfiltered Reds look like child's play.

There is also the mitigating factor of "healthy years" and the down regulation of brain function in the obese that tilts the scale toward obesity being worse.

Basically they're both p ****ing bad for you! But MLY is just regular morbid obese person, she hasn't crossed in super or hyper morbid obesity. So w/e. Even if the hypothetical was kinda true, and she was on a 10 ciggie a day habit. I don't think this would be an issue unless the weight loss was substantially greater and she was way way fatter. (But she's getting after it. Big ups for putting the work in at the table and on the couch.)

Well now we know what all those days contained where she “forgot” to log.

M, come on, you can do better than this. Just try
