Tbh I probably will at some point, when I decide I want to be on TRT.
There's prob not much doubt I will need it down the road with my pretty high SHBG. Hoping I can knock out the kids situation first. We are currently trying for our first!

I think the only people I would NOT recommend it to are people who have family history of heart disease even at healthy bodyweights and young ages. I mean if your fat grandad has a heart attack at 82 or whatever, trt away. But if your uncle who plays tennis 3x/wk and weighs 160 at 5'10 has one... maybe best to stay natty.

How old are you anyway?

Yeah true, luckily no family history of heart problems. Dad's side lives forever.
32.
We'll see! I don't think I'd ever do more than a small blast for not long then trt.

I sure hope N1 doesn’t follow your thread. Not sure what would cause a bigger CAPS LOCK RANT; you thinking of being a roid using CHEATER or the fact that you don’t actually have kids that are beating his run times and getting more women. I still can’t tell if his outrage to your posts was serious or not but I was cracking up.

Does n1 follow anyone's thread?

N1 ARE YOU OUT THERE?

I think he did look once, because he knew he had me on the bw to ohp ratio.

Tilted him so badly when G4S mentioned his son was stronger! I mean I couldn't resist.

And I haven't even mentioned to him that my son just tested maxes and added 135lbs to his total in the last two month while the gyms are closed. Solely garage workouts.

You know what that is?

I don't know the powerlifting situation in US, but for both bbing and powerlifting the untested federations dwarf the natty ones by probably 1000 to 1 in China. The "natural" federation for bbing in China is not in fact tested but just "honor system". In America I reckon for NPC if you look at male and female competitors the ratio of non natty to natty competitors is probably 100-1. Girls ****ing love their clen, t3, anavar even more than guys like test.

Natty pling seems a bit bigger in the USA, but I'd still be shocked if there weren't more than twice as many untested as tested meets.

STILL CHEATING B/C IT HELPS YOU GET ANAL FROM STRIPPERS AND THAT'S THE ONLY GAME THAT COUNTS!

Evo,

What are your thoughts on prevalence of PEDS in crossfit, particularly women's? I don't have a good feel for what natty chicks look like I guess. I just see so many crossfitters on IG with super impressive physiques. I guess it would be helpful if I posted examples.

I'm not super current on crossfit athletes or xfit games today, but I recall a few years back the drug testing simply was non existent and EQ+var was really common among high level games athletes. Since extra non functional muscle is really not helpful, they are not running huge bodybuilding/powerlifting cycles. Probably they are more than sprinter cycles but less than strength athlete cycles. A lot of the compounds that are good for endurance and good for adding more strength and less lean tissue also have a very drying cosmetic effect. Probably you're seeing anavar, eq, primo, low dose winstrol, and turinabol being used there. Low doses of testosterone like sub 500mg/wk for men or 0 for women.

Maybe some EPO as well because so much of it is endurance based.

The women are close to 100% roided up.

I am a guy who thinks the NFL is mostly Natty and yet I think competitive CrossFit (especially womens) is roided up the gills.

I mean you seen these documentaries right? Close to 100% lock they are roided up. It's just too valuable for a woman to get the extra strength. Obviuosly juicy for men also, but since there is a large endurance component, the benefit for men is not as off the charts as the women.

I don't see many on there that strike me as natty but I don't really know of course. It's really the lean-ness (they almost always have ripped abs) + mass. Then again some people are just freaks. There is a pro climber/coach here locally, she's probably mid 40s, who's just jacked and has been like that throughout her career. I think it's very unlikely she PEDs. I don't think she lifts like at all and if she did she would probably have a ridic physique. I've wondered about this in climbing too. Alex Puccio is an example that comes to mind. She just seems like a freak.

I'm not hating at all here btw.

I would think everyone at elite level is on it just because I don't see how they could compete otherwise. Like the Lance Armstrong days, that was just what had to be done to be in that game. It was a level playing field. Though I guess the response to PEDs varies individually. I.e the #10 cyclist in a natty environment could be the #1 hypothetically in the doped environment.

I do find it a bit silly that crossfit and the pros like to pretend it's not part of the game. But what can they do in the world we live in though?

I am logging by hand/paper now. Kinda neat I like it.
Can take pics and upload but don't see the point atm.
Getting lots of sun. Doing 2x chest/tris days & 2x back/bis days
Almost ready to move into house, home gym here we go.

We finally found a house. It is old. 1970. It needs a lot of **** but it's cool. We closed 9 days ago and been over there every day getting rid of crap/cleaning. Will prob take us 6mo-1yr to get it where we want it but looking forward to projecting stuff.

Transitioned to 3x a day lifting. Basically some amount of push/pull each day. Will have room for a sweet home gym so going to get working on that soon when we finally move.

Today was first time I hit 5x225 on bench since lockdown. Not bad, I weigh 176/177.
Fairly similar to last time I was around this weight in April 2019, although I'm a bit detrained atm so maybe some progress.

Seem to be recomping nicely still. Stomach looks leaner at 175 than at trough of diet at 170. I guess it's just protein + training vs 2mo ago.

My sets for W2;

Chest: 14
Tris: 14
Shoulders: 13

Back: 19 (but dont differentiate muslce groups rows vs PU)
Bis: 14.15

For example on 4 sets of bench I allocate 4 to chest, 1.5 to tris and shoulders, etc.
# of sets main thing I'm focusing on programming wise. I do note RPE on bigger movements and I think I tend to have better results training higher RPE as long as I don't hurt myself.

7/15 was a bit down so went in today expecting to also be down, thus cue the deload. Was not, hit 225x7 which was cycle PR. Also I think ties my previous rep PR at this body weight (176).

This was w4, I've assigned 19 sets to chest (14 of which being barbell bench press at fairly high rpe). 24 to back (though again, I don't distinguish there).

Joints all feel 100.

I can't be far off, so maybe will just deload anyways next week.

Also working on house ****, some manual labor.

I could just pay people but man everyone I've had over here to work says they've never been busier, so $$$. For some reason I just feel like doing the easier projects myself.

Always thought about potentially exploring construction after poker.

I had some bloodwork done. T, Free T, lipids, Vit D, A1C. Should get those back soon. Been about 16mo since I had them done. I'm pretty interested to see what they come back as because I've been feeling great. Sex drive solid, lots of energy for working out + manual labor on house, don't recall a single nap in months. So yeah lets see, 2 things have been more sun and a reasonable sleep schedule, generally about 1am-8am or so, which because of poker I generally find myself on the 4am-11am ish sleep pattern.

I used to think I had a sleep problem. But really it's a stimuli problem. I fall asleep and sleep like a baby when I've been at hunting camp with no internet.

Physique improving.

Started new training block

Got labs back. I'm a little surprised T wasn't higher, given I've been feeling great, but w/e that's good news then. When I had it tested last March @100 points higher I remember I was taking Mag/Zinc/Boron.
I wish total Chol wasn't quite so high and LDL but the ratios all look fine. Doc never seems concerned about it so prob not gonna think much about it. Maybe I could add more veggies?

Well Nippard video convinced me to try 5 day (M-F) a week full body so I'm starting that this week. The idea of driving to gym 5x a week and extra COVID exposure isn't appealing but 2-4sets/muscle group and 1.15hr at most is appealing.

Was planning to get home gym started soon but I'm going to lay some new flooring in basement and I'll need a place to put **** while thats in process (in would be future gym) so going to knock that out first.

Arms size are at ath at a whopping 15.25 but at ~175lbs. Though I don't tend to get much fat storage there.

Everything's good. Even winning at poker this year.

Decided to squat HBBS today. 2x5x185. Last rep on 2nd set tweaked LB. It's off the left of center and this was never how my sciatic reacted when it would flair up from SQ/DL (it was always delayed like DOMS). It's prob fine just annoying first day back doing it.

I don't see any reason not to do FS as only SQ movement in the future. Will have higher quad stress with less spinal load.
