Ordinarily I'd agree with you, but just 16 lbs making that dramatic a difference seems more than a little weird. And 225 on a guy with Synbro's build isn't exactly fat.

But whatever the reason, it's a win.

He is very tall and not nearly the level of fat to contribute to libido problems at 225. I've been in a Chinese bath house nearly nude with our Synbro (full ****). I think vitamin d plus not eating shitty Chinese food and probably making a lot more of his own food since he's doing keto is the reason behind, as loco so eloquently puts it, the barrage of baseball bat boners. And yes, I'm sure taking in more dietary fats is helping, but just not eating shitty processed food from Chinese places surely helps too.

Quite surprised to hear about quitting olytard after putting this much work into it and no major debilitating injuries, but it's probably going to be the best for actual health and fitness to take a more general approach. Looking forward to the GSLP log.

I lost 10lbs very quickly just from dropping water weight. So I assume it's not magically from that other 6lbs. But who knows what may have been blocked down there.

Wait, what processed food? Pretty much all of the restaurant food I eat here is just whole foods.

My own guess (after many hours of Thomas DeLauer videos) would be that because of the keto diet I reduced inflammation, insulin and cortisol levels in my body. Maybe that kickstarted something. I truly doubt it's the vitamin D, I have been taking that (on and off) for years in the same dosages.

Or perhaps my body just works better when it's less big.

I had very little fun training this year and didn't really accomplish all that much apart from my jerk. I was feeling tired and unmotivated most of the time with that coach. I kept telling him but he said it was normal and I had to eat more. Also I'm all alone in the crossfit box every single day during open gym which sucks in a way.

It generally just feels unrewarding in comparison to how much time I put in. I lack the natural ability to be good at it and online coaching isn't doing it for me, can't find any local coach nor a training buddy or even weightlifting friends. All of that in combination with the health stuff just makes me want to pursue different things, at least for a while.

There's 80kg dudes in my box who casually snatch 100kg just from "doing crossfit" and every time I see them do it I get an existential crisis, lol. The only time (literally ever) where I actually felt like I was accomplishing something was when I spent that week in Qingdao with Coach Yang and trained under his eye every day and have him correct me on every rep.

About 1000km. So far 33 confirmed cases in Chengdu. Number seem low but some studies estimate the real infections closer to 250k because of a 14 day incubation period + each person infecting 2-4 others on average. I assume it will continue to get worse exponentially over the next few weeks.
