It's about the relationship between the sticking points of lifts and when you change direction to how safe the lift is. I can't be sure if he's right about a lot of it (Cha?), but it would make sense to me if he was.
The half squat reference - he's sort of right, but he totally ignores (or doesn't know?) why that's the way it is. When you do a full squat, your glutes and hamstrings fire near the bottom and provide a resisting force to your quads. That makes the movement good for the knees when you do it right. When you half squat, you're using all quads, so there's shear force in the knee joint.
The rest of the video - meh. He's all over the place with some truths, some half truths, and a lot of missing the point of stuff.

But that link below says I'm elite
Seriously though, I'm obviously something short of elite (the guy in USPA nationals who's older & lighter than me that out-lifted me by > 200 lbs proves that), but I dont feel like a novice either. The USPA classifications seem fair to me. By that, I'm above Class I now and will hopefully (probably?) hit Master in the next meet, which is a notch below Elite, which is below International Elite. I do have an outside shot at an Elite DL (596).

Nice - did he do any work on it?
