Nice work on all the dates/relationships bros.

I bought a quest bar at the store the other day to give it a try. Very good. Ordering a box now, so at least I got that going for me.

Probably because she'll get bored of you?? I mean not you specifically but any man who shows enough obvious interest to invest 3.5 hours into her? I don't know if this is accurate or not but that's my intuition.

Depends on the chick.

If you're just trying to plow through 22 year old cum dumpsters, it's probably good to keep up an air of mystery play the game a little more. If you're trying to get to know chicks that are a bit older with an eye towards a potential relationship, then I don't think it makes too much of a difference.

That's a quick progression into a relationship but if that's what you want then go for it man. Both is key, though.
I wasn't necessarily looking to get into a relationship, but mostly because I have highish standards for dating and wasn't expecting her to be so awesome. Def a quick progression though, so that's part of why I'm out of my element.

What are the negatives to a 3.5 hour first date? Only asking because my first date was ~11 hours long.

Because women are crazy and meeting someone in person that you've only talked to online is still kind of a big leap. I think no matter how good you are in the pregame texting, defenses are always going to be on high alert going into a date. And even if the date goes awesome and she's very comfortable with you, I think it can be hard to escape the label of "the guy she met online" that she needs to be careful around. So any significant deviations from her usual dating behavior, like extremely long first dates or sex faster than usual, even if they should be interpreted as good, have a greater chance of making her uncomfortable.

But again this is all based on mburke's retrospects of what went wrong, which tend to be with a specific sort of girl that is looking for something very unusual.

This is coming from someone whose first date lasted about 3 days.

My gym just got a big giant crossfit room. So many goodies in there.

It's okay to go deadlift with bumpers in there right? Dont know what the proper etiquette is? Probably going to do my squats in there too.

Def, I just try to do what seems most natural to me. Don't really get into that PUA stuff. Possibly why I'm foreveralone.jpg but I'm ok with that. No really I am ... *weeps silently*

going in an out of consciousness doesn't count, nor does it count if you heard colors and saw sounds.

Learn to oly lift. Squatting with bumpers is poor etiquette if you have access to steel plates I believe, not sure about deadlifts tho.

Lol. Went over to watch some Law and Order and help her finish off the Ben & Jerry's in her freezer before she moved. Didn't come back home for a day and a half and when I did she came with me.

Got approved on my squats in crossfit room.
Got rejected on the deadlifts. They said floor not strong enough. I thought bumpers would make it fine. It's rubber floor but it is indeed thinner than regular gym floor.

did you tell them what your deadlift is? they might not have minded.

Troll aside, seems dumb to have equipment designed to be dropped on a floor that cant support the weight.

Crossfit room with bumper plates where they won't let you Deadlift? **** off. Waste of space.

This doesn't make much sense. Floor should be sturdy enough to handle impact from dropping weight from shoulder height/overhead, so why would deads be an issue?

nice TR, BTM.

It might just be me but not really feeling the 'Shaniqua' move. It worked I guess.
Also, she seems to know all the standart tricks - like how to look even more gorgeous in a pic sandwiched between two fat lezzers

Yes, it's okay to drop the weight in a deadlift. Are they going to stop you? lol. When youo get to the top just ease the weight down faster than you would with irons. It'll make some noise but not a whole lot and it'll earn you 1-2 extra reps on your previous 5RM I bet.

It's pretty sweet room though. Huuuge tires. Multiple GHRs. Kettlebell heaven.
Rings and pull-up bars everywhere. I can just imagine seeing fakebusto monkeying around like a monkey here.

There is some dudes with pretty jacked upperbodies. Doing countless variations of pull-ups and push-ups. Doesn't seem like they train legs though.

I have monster deadlift at gyms I frequent. Apparently you guys have never been to the globalgyms I go to. No one squats or deadlifts. Erryday is upperbody day.

Ridiculous, but not alone.....my GGO is local gym that has concrete floor AND installed Oly platform complete with bumpers - won't let anyone drop the bar, even from front rack position (let alone overhead).

Reason: the noise bothers the people playing tennis.

Fortunately, not my gym.
