Solution is to only eat prepackaged food. Did I eat the whole package? Oh, cool. I'll log how many servings it says are in it.

DT I'm a Detroit native of course I'm a lions fan. Have been my whole life.

A few months ago somebody linked that reddit thread on proteins and their was some speculation about the validity of that body fortress whey they sell at Walmart. Now I know you fancy lads don't shop at Walmart but on this cut the only thing I've really been eating is whey this and whey that and I read somewhere on this board that those claims weren't true. What's the deal?

Also, bros, is there any possibility of having a broken bone without realizing it? Remember my white water tubing fiasco? My left shin is still pretty swollen, bruised, and sensitive to touch. It's a bit of an ugly yellow color. It feels fine walking around and doesn't bother me lifting though.

I figure it's just a nasty contusion, but could it be hairline fractured or something? Get it x-rayed?

probably just a blood cloth that will lead to pulmonary embolism, walk it off.

yes

A friend of mine had a sore shin for a while and it turned out to be cancer. You're prob looking at amputation.

Just pour a beer on it. It'll be fine.

Meanwhile, finally we have a senator standing up for real Australian values.

Quote:
Thanks to the quirks of minor party preferences some unconventional candidates appear to be headed for the upper house in Canberra. With some of these likely senators dodging the media, journalists are left to piece together their backgrounds from the scraps available online.
Ricky Muir, the likely Victorian senator from the Australian Motoring Enthusiast Party, who would take his place in July next year, appears to have a more colourful past than most.

In a video taken from his YouTube account, which was made private soon after the election on Saturday night, Mr Muir appears to be filmed taking part in a backyard kangaroo faeces fight.

The video, titled "Family Fight in Australia", appears to depict the likely senator, who sports a thick moustache and goatee, running around a garden with his friends, who are hurling kangaroo faeces and laughing hysterically.
We know it is kangaroo faeces because the person holding the video camera picks up a brown pellet, examines it, and says: "This is kangaroo poo. Yum yum."

Yeah it was a great game....because of the one 77 yard TD pass lol. You guys are out of your mind. Bell was pretty awesome last night and they are going to keep benching Leshoure which helps both of them, but the fact remains that it's going to be somewhat of a timeshare for both guys. I own Bush in 1 of my 5 leagues so it's not like I hate the guy, I just don't value him in PPR more than someone like Darren Sproles.

Pain & gain, 3/10

Turned it off after 45 minutes. What a disaster.

You're trying to outsmart yourself, and you're still wrong.

It sounds like you met Reggie Bush somewhere and he wasn't skinny and cut up enough for you, maybe tell him to tighten things up a little and you'll consider drafting him next year after a nice OKC chat?

DF2 - how are they just straight from the microwave to the mouth? Or with some Cholula or Sriracha sauce? Ain't nobody got time to chop garlic imo.

But yeah, those look pretty damn nomnomnom compared to the tyson plain chicken I get - that def needs to get dressed up to participate in the mouth party, otherwise my mouth gets the sads.

You bros have a fantasy thread.

I have not microwaved them. Just dump them on some foil and throw in the cold oven and turn it on to 425. Come back in 25-30 mins.

But this is like bachelor food 101. Shouldn't your wife be churning out roast beefs, crispy ducks, ceder plank salmons, etc?

Wife is vegetarian bro - I add meat to much of what we eat but the meat does not get fancy lad treatment. It involves throwing chicken or bacon in to XXXX. E.g. we're having poblano/corn quesadillas this week and I'm going to toss one or the other (or both) of those meats in. But I'm too lazy to do anything interesting to the meat.

For lunch I've gotten so lazy I just microwave chilli every day. Nothing gets more bachelor 101 than that.

Could not handle the underlined.

I do most of the cooking now, though, so probably wouldn't end up being a huge deal.
09-09-2013 , 10:34 AM
There isn't anything to really "handle" imo. The only way it affects me is that I wash things I use to cook meat. But, I mean, I should be doing that anyway obv. I guess I don't cook meat in our Wok b/c of this since I won't ever actual clean it out with soap - so far I haven't cared about not Woking meat but I probably should.
09-09-2013 , 10:40 AM
That's a lie. It affects the fact that she isn't cooking you delicious pot roasts, and that if you want to return the favor, you can't grill her a delicious steak. You gotta make some Swiss shard or some bulls hit.

Your wife seemed like a 9.5-10 up until now. Demoting her to a 9.0. Does she love FNL? Then down some more, unless she wears uggs and love pink sweats. Then she's back up.

Adapting vegetarian meals to meet your training goals is a surefire way to No Gainz City.
09-09-2013 , 10:47 AM
I was joking, this isn't the 1950s. Cooking meat is a man's game. I do 95% of the meat prep and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Having pretty nomzie vegetable dishes on the reg seems like a good benefit. Vegetables are just such a time sink and generally unfun to prepare, I find myself in the "throw green X in the blender, add a cooked beet and a scoop of wheat grass powder and slam" at least a couple days a week.
