I've felt this way before, but I don't think you can necessarily make those conclusions. Maybe with 5 hours of sleep you'd be less focused and end up getting less done in 19 hours compared to 16 hours of more enjoyable/productive time? I mean if that wasn't true, then you wouldn't need the 8 hours, right? I dunno, just thinking out loud.
I get a lot of sleep too. I would like to think that I'm not wasting time
