Wait, I know what I'm saying...

If you saw a dude and a chick acting like that it would be highly likely that they are banging, or wanting to bang or trying to get to banging. But not if it's two dudes?
09-02-2013 , 08:51 AM
Well this thread's starting out weird.
09-02-2013 , 08:53 AM
I think it doesn't help that I much prefer to workout sans partner and don't really feel like the 'work out buddy' thing would do much for me.

Oct. 12/13th. All the details haven't been put up yet, so not sure if it's even going to happen because they have to get the meet registered with USAW. Kinda blows that I should probably quit smoking herb this month or potentially face the wrath of USADA.

I guess I'm saying my September goal is to not get killed by an oak tree.
Good luck. When I was a kid, my stepfather cut down an oak next to our driveway, and it turned on the stump and fell on the electrical wires. It was on Labor Day and the electric company charged double time because it was a holiday.

Bang 3 new chicks.

Romantic attraction is not the same thing as sexual attraction is not the same thing as platonic attraction. You can have emotional intimacy with a guy and find him attractive without being sexually attracted to him. A lot of H&Fers should be perfect examples of people who understand and practice this. Just look at how we interact with each and evaluate each others noodz.

Can't lie. I know those numbers should be reversed. Working on it.

I would also like to add the bench 185x10x4 2 minute rest challenge. I came 1 rep short of completing this challenge last month.

Do you think that guys who workout together often do so because they enjoy male intimacy? Not necessarily in a sexual way, but they just like being physically and emotionally close to another man.
When I'm at home I much prefer going to the gym with one of my best guy mates cos it's just more fun, we talk about bro stuff like form/diet and I think it makes you work harder cos you subconsciously compete with one another, which is a good thing.

Only downside is we're always there for an hour and a half depending on what day it is and I have to listen to terrible gym music instead. Get through my workouts in 30/45 mins usually otherwise.

I don't wanna bang him tho

Hahaha

I think it just depends on who the training buddy is. You really need to be on the same level imo. And not just training wise.

You kinda have to look up to eachother.
09-02-2013 , 10:07 AM
You mean top/bottom?
09-02-2013 , 10:11 AM
My thoughts exactly.

Forgot the most important Swoletembro goal:
- Achieve something resembling a skin color other than "Casper White"

Brahs I dunno what snitch is doing but he's doing a really bad job of posting pics of the hottest ever from down under. Ellie Gonsalves:

The tree in question. The verdict: fat, cut.

Notice all the dead branches that can fall on me while I'm cutting, which is why they're known as widow makers.

Here's the tricky part. Its natural lean is toward this other oak.

And to the right of that oak is the old well and pump which I don't want to destroy, since we use that well for watering plants and such.

If I fell it in the direction of its natural lean, I'm worried it will either get hung up in the other oak, or get deflected by the other oak's branches and land on the well/pump.

This is the direction I'm think of going with. Pretty much in the opposite direction of its natural lean. I think I'm going to have to use felling wedges, and maybe a long cable or rope tied up high on the tree and pulling toward this direction to get it to go where I want.

And here's a cool spider web strung between the pump, the ground, and the nearby oak.
09-02-2013 , 10:56 AM
Wedge + rope def seems like the way to go. I know this because I've helped fell at least 5-6 trees.
09-02-2013 , 10:58 AM
There's a legit 10 in OP and at the end of last months thread, for reference.

Sept Goals:

-Come back to training at some point this month. Pec tendon injured+knee injured=literally nothing
-Don't get over 195, currently 189
-Finish thesis, but whatever.

I've seen it like 4 times but that CTFletcher pic always gets me some lols.

I got the best piece of advice about my knee injury from the assistant strength+conditioning coach here: Don't let my right knee go into extension while standing up ever. Only let it extend when doing physical therapy exercises. Limp around like a ****tard if I must. She was totally right, pain abetted in about 3 days. Now it just feels like **** a few hours after waking up and relatively normal the rest of the day. Too bad my physical therapist/sports physicians don't even ****ing lift and couldn't tell me this earlier.
