Oh for sure, you have to watch season 1. There are some real big duds but there's some good stuff as well.

We should prob stop this before someone asks us to get a room. A very nerdy room

I was all excited because I took a flyer on Julius Thomas in both my leagues (including my salary cap league, where i got him locked up for 1-4 bucks over the next four years), then I checked my 2p2 team and realized I didn't draft him

decent brag tho

I'd actually trade him right now if I were you (depending on needs, possibly not). I feel like someone would over-react and give up too much for someone who is largely unproven, has many, many weapons around him that will take a lot of touches, and will most likely regress.

Nah, I've got him locked up for four years and Jimmay is in front of him for 2 more (and then I'm going to have to franchise him the year after that, no more having him for 5 dollars), so I'm in a pretty good position to wait a bit and let Julius develop.

I'd probably try to move him in a redraft league, though.

Ah gotcha. I gambled on Montee Ball in one of my leagues, didn't looks great tonight, but I'm holding some hope. I almost started Pierce instead, but it only woulda got me a few extra points so it's not looking like a huge disaster for the week.

So many jimmies rustled in my Yahoo league re: Thomas, Yahoo default waiver rules are Sunday - Tuesday so you can insta snag any player during the Thursday night game without clearing waivers and somebody grabbed him before the half, definitely gonna change that setting but that's also a terrible default imo.

Also my god it is going to be hard to remain a Pats fan this year. I can't find anything about this team to like, and there's plenty to hate.

Glad I've at least lived in Denver so I have an iota of defense when it comes to openly rooting for them.

That RB situation in Denver is Shanny-esque, donotwant.jpg

I started reading it thinking it was going to be a more in-depth and interesting article so I linked it. After finishing, I was kinda like "da fuq? that's all you got?"

Agree with you about them being different movements. The guidelines at the end seem like a pretty reasonable set of info as well.

Love the "IANA Cha".

I thought some of what he was seeming to argue sounded reasonable until I actually watched video. Then i was like "ehhh? Wtf is this ****" - my guess is that article is valuable to perhaps 1% of people reading it and 99% not helpful or actually dangerous to the other 99%. It's too easy to use it as an excuse to continue training in a long-term risky manner while not even getting the value of the "risky" training he's potentially advocating. Also, this seems (and he says it) like advice for only elite world class athletes. Who the hell is on forums and message boards arguing that those guys have awful form and doing it wrong?!

Protein/Cal estimate?

8" bun imo
4-6oz turkey
guacamole
bacon (maybe 2 full strips)
green chiles
pepper jack cheese

Pic might be too up close, I tried to show my hand in comparison.

JeffAwesome, this is from the deli at your work, if you're familiar.

Completely disagree. Not saying they're going to be a very good team but there's a lot to be a fan of. Brady, run game, Amendola, couple rookies, maybe maybe a step forward on d if they stay healthy and Hightower Jones get better...

Fully agree with the first bold part and kind of agree with the second. He ignores the fact that this type of movement, which involves flexion & extension of a loaded spine, wears out discs. While the first video is obviously way worse than what Lu Xiaojun is doing & he is nowhere near end ranges or extension or flexion, he's still wearing out his discs. There are probably better ways to accomplish what he's doing without loaded flexion. McGill would tear this guy's "argument" to pieces.

I dont think its valuable to anyone unless they're looking for new ways to wear out the discs in their low back.

I agree he ain't what he used to be and his off field life/persona is pukeworthy but there's something to be said for a qb that's going to be really damn good and have you in the playoff hunt no matter who the surrounding cast is...

As you go along with life, you start to see things that make you question what you know. And now, I’ve come to a point in life where I believe that, every thing has a way of working. It’s just how you support the decisions you decide to take. That’s why I rarely if ever argue about stuff. I’ll listen to what you think. Then I’ll share what I think. And I never attempt to switch someone to how I think. I just share it with a passion and you make the decision.

This is because I’ve found that during the heat of the argument/debate/discussion, our emotions take over so much, that we can’t actually listen to what’s being said. We hear, but we don’t listen. Yes, it’s been a long time coming.

Def tastes better. I would've retaken if it looked that bad on my phone.

Taste is 8/10 imo. It just pulls apart bad.

I estimated at 800-950.
