Also useful if you see an anonymous nood pic and want to know if there are any more.

I mean why is reverse image searching useful?

Except for the noods

I viewed them. I agree with you, they look not so bueno. Your set up looked off, but I don't know what to tell you how to fix it, so no comment. Maybe someone who even lifts can give you constructive feedback.

You got oysters bro. There is a video on mobilitywod about that.
If I recall correctly, setting up from the top down would help you out.

Or you may just have a big layer of fat in your lower back that makes it look like oysters. One of the two for sure.

I have similar issues. Couldn't solve them so switched to sumo. Solved.

Switching to sumo is good if you're stronger in that position and want to pull more weight. Don't switch to sumo to put a band aid on mobility issues.

Me too. One of the better decisions I made. Sumo has some drawbacks but it's sooo much easier for me to not round my back with sumo.

Figuring out the source, identity of person in picture or story behind any random picture you happen to see somewhere online. Also if you want to find out if some of your pics have been posted in some random places.

And isn't figuring out names from noods enough already?

anthropmetry. That's the main reason.

Agreed completely.

Also, in my own personal experience, when I first started dling my form was sheet and I rounded a lot. It took a while but once I started actively using my hams and glutes more (aka form improved) my back started rounding less. I could have switched to sumos early on and probably avoided all that but I don't think that would have helped me out.

Fwiw Cha59 nixed my move to sumo saying that I still should dial in my conventional technique close to optimal first. Plenty of time to then work in sumos after that but if I switched beforehand, I'd never really lock in "top down" conventional technique properly.

When I was doing 5/3/1 boring but big, I deadlifted normally for the strong lift, and did my 5x10 sumo so I can get a slightly different movement going

Its good to do that. Some world class DLers are big advocates of being able to do both proficiently. Ed Coan pulled ~875 conventional & >900 sumo.

Obama coming to speak somewhere near my work today. Black cars, cop cars, dudes with wires, dudes with m16s and vests barricading all the walkways. There's even cars with built-in TSA-style bag xrays.

Thanks, Obama
