I think we can all agree that The Sundays make high quality, inoffensive, and effeminate pop music and their lead singer is hot and liking them does not make one gay but denying the hotness of their lead singer does.
It can be great if you go with the right goal. I would go and come up with the most ridiculous pickup moves. Like showing a girl a magic trick with a matchbook. Normal matchbook! But like magic, I open it...and my phone number appears

She never called

But I did meet her again at a department store. She recognized me and wanted the D
I barely like going to bars with people. I don't really get the attraction. Pay more for liquor while getting sloshed on by people you don't know in a loud environment. Drink alone under bridges like any normal person, and then if it still doesn't feel quite right, then light some money on fire and spill some beer on yourself.
That's a good point. I infinitely prefer getting drunk under a bridge and raped by random homeless people than initiating conversation with strangers at bars ainec.

Oh jesus going to a bar is bad enough. You want to TALK to someone there? Gag me with a spoon.
Never really "gone out" by myself, but gotten meals and drinks at a bar by myself plenty of times. You can get stir crazy pretty easily working from home and sometimes just need to get out and be around other people. Other times on like a Sunday night I will go to my neighborhood pub and just grab a side table and drink a few beers while going over short term plans and re-evaluating things. Wouldnt really go out to a busy bar by myself, but if you can pull it off without being weird, then more power to you.
