DFH 90 overpriced and overrated imo. It's obv very good, but too much money for 4 12oz bottles. I like SN Celebration more tbh.
09-10-2013 , 12:51 AM
Those are both great. But only draft. Would not waste 160 cals on bottles. Well maybe.

But Sierra Nevada regular IPA is definitely shiet out of the bottle. Way too bitter. It tastes better draft. Bell's double IPA is same way. Way too bitter out of the bottle. Tasty draft. I conclude IPAs taste like shiet out of the bottle.

Yeah agree on it being over priced, but I'm baller like loco

And yea too many cals, that's why I mostly drink bourbon/scotch now

And Sierra Nevada 'regular IPA' isn't a thing. You are thinking of their Pale Ale. I guess there's a slight chance you are thinking of their Torpedo extra IPA, but doubt it.
09-10-2013 , 01:36 AM
Yeah that one. That green bottle. Use to drink that back when I was a young man and I lived in the Bay Area. Now I rarely ever see it. But did find me some celebration draft in a bar in Michigan. 29/37. Dogfish draft 30/37 only because its got a tiny hint of citrusy and sweet. And I love dem sweets!!!!

Yeah the brewery is about an hour south of me, a couple hours north of the Bay Area. It's def all over the place in this area.

I'm now drinking a Rampage Imperial IPA. It's very good, also. 9% ABV also. Beer advocate doesn't like it as much but I think it's just as good.
09-10-2013 , 02:10 AM
I was roommates with a couple of the brewery employees in college in Chico an fish with another one of them a couple times a year. Brewery workers used to get a pony keg or 2 cases of beer a week, usually shorts or mislabels. That was in addition to the 4 kegs of home brew always on tap in the house. Life was rough back then.

ON Double Rich Chocolate + Skim Milk & you can't go wrong.

If I add anything, it's usually a banana or two oreo cookies.
09-10-2013 , 03:37 AM
^^^ tasteless, usually throw in like 1/2 a teaspoon of coffee.
09-10-2013 , 03:41 AM
yea coffee too

one of those is probably where I'll retire. You get a few years in a good forum and then it's off to the salt mines.
Funny, prob exactly the forums I would have suggested as the worst. I prob haven't visited half the forums ever, but I can't imagine many that are worse except Politards.

Really dependent on the brand. I've used nothing but one type of brotein powder for the last 3 years, over 90% brotein and taste is very, very solid. Tried another brand and it tasted so bad I couldn't finish the tub. Starrybrehs.

Thankfully it's for an event at our house this weekend and I somehow stopped eating it bc then I'd not only be fat but have no friends too.
Solid home made ice cream is close to unbeatable. I would not have been able to resist choc peanut butter. No friends = totally worth it.

Again it's a brand thing, but mixing with milk ups the taste by about a MILLION percent so imo that's worth it. Also, micros.

With the guac I am drinking Dogfish Head's 90 minute IPA. It's very, very good. Coming it at 9% abv, it drinks much closer to a 7% abc beer with a very good balance of fruity hops and caramely malts
Glad to hear. I forgot to mention the secret ingredient, Mexican virgin blood.

wtf, loco with the fancy lad alcohol tendencies? Never would have guessed. Would have assumed it's all about the whey, chicken breasts, tequila shots and bread pudding.

I was talking to the brother of one of my good friends very recently and he had a very similar cool story bro. Sounds like this was quite a while ago, sometime in the 90s.

Sick life

Whey plus unsweetened almond milk is pretty good too.

I feel neither healthy or fit.

that's ok i've long advocated a forum namechange to health & fatness to better reflect the participating demographics

more australia politics news, this guy is getting a seat in the senate apparently:

notes: the poo that he throws at his friend is kangaroo poo obviously. he's unemployed and lives in bum**** nowhere with his wife and five kids. his party is the 'motoring enthusiasts party'. senators get paid 192k

Bench pole:

Heels up or heels down?
09-10-2013 , 09:15 AM
What's a bench pole?

Assuming you're asking people in the same way a poll would, it's individual, and figure out which ever you're stronger with. I personally was stronger with heels up, but relearned flat foot for federation diversity purposes. Probably will always be weaker with it, but meh.
09-10-2013 , 09:19 AM
Interesting. Practiced some warm-up reps with heels up. I always press heels down tho and went back on my work sets. Might try heels up next time.
09-10-2013 , 09:22 AM
Depends on your setup at least to a certain degree imo. With Tate's setup it's unpossible to have heels down e.g.
09-10-2013 , 09:41 AM
Also depends on how long your legs are; when I get my feet under me, heels down is not possible.
09-10-2013 , 09:45 AM
I didn't really "get" leg drive until I started driving my heels into the floor and squeezing my butt.
09-10-2013 , 09:45 AM
I'll "get" it when they build a bench that six inches further off the ground I guess
09-10-2013 , 09:51 AM
well I mean I barely bench bodyweightx5 so clearly leg drive is fake.
