I think honestly that most men these days never get a chance to experience real fraternal love because it's so frowned upon as being too close to the gay. It's said that men in the military, especially in wartime, are among the few who really get to experience it. I kinda believe this, my cousin is a marine and his closeness to his squad mates is something I genuinely envy.
Lifting weights is kinda manly enough that you might be able to get a fraternal love pump on. I think I've probably never given an un-ironic high five or fist bump in my life, kind sad imo.
