missed a couple days. date tues. was exhausted after work on weds.

squat
205x5; 215x2x5 - felt good. i can probably do more next time. squatting over my weight now!

bench
195x5, 195x4, 190x5 - should get 3x next time

deadlift
225x5 - really focused on form. think i may need more work. will try to vid next time.

gah this is bad.

Friday - day off
Saturday - went disc golfing all day
Sunday - played hockey at noon. Meant to go to the gym in the early evening but didn't and it closes at 8.
Monday - did hot yoga because today is the day it's free at the gym.
Tuesday - going on a date tomorrow. likely won't gym till weds.

Wednesday - passed out after work. guess it was a needed sleep.

finally went today.

205x2x5; 185x5 - legs didn't feel good.

bench
195x5; 195x4; 190x5

6,4,4

workout felt ok. felt better mentally to get back into it. need to make sure i'm going every other day.

although i don't mind going to yoga, i think it has affected my routine.

Sunday off.
Monday worked super late.
Tuesday went on a work trip till late.

Today:

Squat
215x5; 220x5; 2 plates!!! x 5 - woop. felt great. form improved each set too.

bench
195x2x5; 195x3 - getting there. rest was a bit longer. 2.5 mins or so.

pullups
6,5,3 - not so good. bench killed me I guess.

power clean - put this in the routine. obviously need to work on form, but it felt like a good exercise.

db press - the 3 regular benches were full. i was just going to warm up with db's but just went for it.

ugh. didn't go all week. was too busy with work and going on dates. can't complain too much i guess.

done work for 2 weeks and heading home. should be able to get a regular routine in, unless holiday festivities throw a wrench in things.

bench - decided to do it first today. read somewhere to do upper before squat. good to mix it up i guess.

Home for holidays. Went to local high school gym for free. Gym has 9 squat racks/bench and a stereo where you can hook up ipod. Pretty much ideal.

Went on Monday.

Went for first time in a while. Travel, family issues, tired...

I need to remember to go really light for my first time back in a week or two. Seemed to have yanked my upper arm muscle again... Anyway

195x3x5 - glad didnt need to drop here. Last rep very close to fail.

4,5 - arm was hurting and squat rack came free which was rare given all the resolutions people

left arm still felt sore so i skipped shoulder press. going to give it a few days rest. still need a good ab routine.

first time in a week. been too tired, busy, and it's cold as hell outside. aside from busy, the others aren't really good excuses. need to stay regular.

started with abs. saw a video or article a while ago recommending starting with abs, since usually by the end you're too tired and just skip them. i noticed i've been doing that, so i started with abs.

did day 1 of it today. def need to work on the hanging leg raises. it also feels awkward because i'm 6'4 and none of the bars to hang from are high enough to begin with so i need to curl my knees anyway.
