The extra rep at 320 seems unnecessary. The thing I realized about fatigue for singles is that it's not something I can feel or really gauge at all. It just shows up in my results.
you misunderstood my post. 315-320 means one of those, not 315 and 320. but yea, 295/315/345 seems fine

Larry Wheels's last ramping single before a PR is that PR minus a plate. I personally would do very poorly with any more than a 20 pound jump.

Oh ok, that makes sense. Yeah I'll give it a try and see if I get a better result.

I remember when I was trying for 315 I would go from 295 to 315 and I kept failing. Then one day I decided to do 275 to 315 and I finally got it. Probably was just a function of me having gotten stronger over that time, but I guess mentally I attributed it to the change in ramping.

Press felt pretty good today. Though my right quad kept cramping in a spot I can't stretch. So I had to keep massaging it in between sets.

Interesting looking back on just 9 months ago I couldn't get up 315. Now I'm doing sets of doubles. I'm averaging about 4lbs a month adding to my 1RM. Slow but steady progress.

I'm sure as time passes the rate of gains will get slimmer.
But hopefully not too much until I at least get to 405.

And I guess this is a controversial opinion, but I don't want to get there by doing some ******ed arch where I look like a cirque du soleil performer and I'm moving the bar an inch.
That's great and all for people who do that so they can get a higher medal in powerlifting or whatever, but I think that **** looks ******ed.

I'm glad big guys like Eric Spoto and that Russian guy(Kirill?sp)
hold the records where they are actually doing the full movement.

On the flip side I don't think I can squat anymore than I could over a year ago. But that's no surprise as I squat like once every 2 weeks and do the same light weights everytime. Just not that into it for going heavy at least.

Thanks! Kind of in a limbo right now. Not following a strict program. I couldn't find a good one for press, so just winging it.

I feel like 240 is close. I will probably try an attempt before the new year.

Man watching Larry Wheels put up 405 is motivating to watch.

Thinking about trying out Chad Smith's AI template. Seems pretty interesting. Only thing is that it's tailored for bench, squat and dead. I only care about bench and press.
