Still trying to figure out how fast I can safely go on the treadmill. 11.5mph seems to be just about the limit. Have three more weeks to win this prop bet.

Course might finally be open again after all this weather, excited to hit some shots outdoors. Been to GolfTEC a few times to check out the swing and it's looking pretty decent.

White blood count back into low but normal range. Doc said I can hop back on the immune suppressants which is a relief. Get stressed being off them. Work is stressing me out too, it's why I need golf back already.

Little running prop bet.

Golf tourneys start in May, plan is to start putting in some lower volume after the race.

Where in Boston? I'd likely be down to get drinks or dinner or guest you into my gym if you feel so inclined.

Doubt any ranges are open, but I'd also let you give me a free lesson.

Grip string is deplorable. If I could have two goals this month it would be improve grip strength and put some size on my legs. They laughably skinny.

Now that the bet is over, do you have a programming plan going forward?

I have a 3-4x a week template that is more conditioning and BB focused if you're interested, though just playing every day by ear might be a better strategy per your joints and goals.

Definitely interested I was gonna hit you up about it actually.

Also since you're a golfer anything you can think of that would help performance there would be great.

Ok, I'll PM you. Do you know what your plans are in Boston yet?

I've tried to understand what aspects of my training have been most beneficial to golf, but the truth is I really can't do more than guess. I've probably gained 50 yards through weight training, and I was not a short hitter to begin with. At this point my length is a big liability for someone who plays as infrequently as I do. But I don't really know specifically where that distance came from. I think the barbell lifts are great for GPP, but have extremely limited SPP benefit to increasing swing speed. IMO weighted chinups, kroc rows, heavy KB swings, tire flips, farmer's walks, and sled pushes all pay better dividends, but I can't support that with much.

Legs still sore from Friday, might see what the hotel gym has to offer tomorrow before I enter 120 hours of drunkeness.
